Tell me about Steel Will knives.

I actually had the same thing happen with a cutjack mini I received, but it happens about half the time where it is stuck in the closed position. That was after loosening the pivot pin because it wouldn't open at all when I first received it with the blade centered. Steel Will's fixed blades aren't bad for the money, but kinda leery of their budget pocket knives compared to their higher ends one.

Anyone figure what exactly this issue is? When it jams, it is rock-solid jam - no amount of flipping force will deploy the blade. I was also unable to loosen the pivot, so I can only think of thread-fastener. The knife is good, but these issues kinda put me off.
