Ten Worst Folders, and a Giveaway

I can think of 10 but some of them are so cheap that they dont even have a name on them. One is a S&W frame lock of some kind, it literaly fell apart. After that experiance I would have trouble buying and S&W gun even though im sure that they are better than there knives.

+1 on the thread being closed. The give-away ended over a year ago. I can't close it, don't know why.

Biggest POS I ever owned shown below. Reverse Liner Lock failure! My son almost got hurt. What a joke. Never again.

Im only going to speak of knives that I own or have owned.

1. S&W Extreme Ops: Just poor quality all around.
2. Mtech: Wobbly as hell. Although I do like the thin profile of the knife.
3 - 10. are all going to be Jim frost / Frost Cutlery knives. I guess for the price you cant ask much and some are actually really robust but each one I have had has been extremely gritty and a complete displeasure to open.

Out of all the knives I have had those fall into the category of my least favorite/worst.

I can only list the 3 knives of mine that I think have design flaws:

1. Cold Steel Kudu -- Yes, it's extremely inexpensive, but why use a clasp design that risks cut fingers at all.

2. Ka-Bar FIN -- Loved the blade shape in pictures, but very uncomfortable in the hand. It feels like the whole knife is made of blade.

3. Kershaw Hawk -- A small knife with the thumb stud placed so as to be unusable. Just put in a nail nick please.

Spyderco Ayoob
Spyderco Gunting
Spyderco Khalsa
CRKT M-16 series
Gerber Paraframe
The SAK with every blade
The Frost knives with the 'ball lock' where the ball actually just presses the liner lock and disengages it as soon as you grip the knife.
Schrade Cliphanger
CRKT Edgie, with the built in diamond self-sharpener
The Remington 740/760 where the bolt lock is contained in the magazine--oh wait, that's not a knife.

Old thread but still usefull.
I love mine.
Any CRKT knife I bought in '90s.
Gerber fixed blades from 80s.
