Test: Gun knowledge...

I scored a 93%. I honestly don't know the answer to the concealed carry question.

How many states allowed concealed carry w/o a license, and what are they?

I think the Swiss rifle was a straight pull bolt. Is that right?

You have excellent skills in weapons handling. I could definetly trust you to cover my back. Matter of fact, you're probably packing right now!

Some of the more esoteric military stuff got me and I know nothing about Glocks. Still, not bad for just a kid. :)

Terry, Vermont and Alaska allow concealed carry without a license.

95%, adjusted for age. I guessed on the Python, SA80, and concealed carry questions.

Since we're nitpicking, the M16's operating system was "None of the above." A gas tube is a part, not a system of operation. (Gas impingement or direct impingment, or something along those lines, would have been more accurate.)

You are a true gun nut. The number of guns in your house is probably over five. All of them are truly effective in your hands.

The only 3 didn't know for sure where 1) about the limey sa80 , and 2) the permanently attached bayonet for the Moisin rifle 3) parts in a Glockenspiel.

I feel kinda bad I didn't ace it. My dad will probably feel like he didn't enroll me in the NRA at an early enough age now!

Over half my life I wanted to be a gun nut and I didn't even make it.

Munk, just because you climbed on an internet site, and took a "test" set up by some jazzbo who thinks he's a gun expert, does not mean you are somehow less qualified than he. How would our armchair "expert" fair if his gun jammed on the third round, and someone were not only still shooting at him, but were advancing on his position? Does expertise on military rifles of yesteryear set him up to claim expertise across the board? Invite the sumb___h to your local range, and shoot against him for a beer:D . I suspect you'd do O.K.

Yeah, on at least 2 or 3 of those questions I had never even -heard- of the rifle they were asking about, let alone the question about it. I think he had to dig pretty deep to come up with some of those.

I'm not sure exactly why though because I think most gun people with some knowledge could probably come up with 40 or 50 good questions based on their own experience, that would be as good or better than his. (?)

79% overall and 90% for my age group. Sweet!

I'll take that for now. Now I'll retake it 'till I get 'em all right!!
