tomorrow being Canada Day, some canned bevies showed up today- so I chopped em! The cans, that is. I drank the bevy part. Like a good Canadian.

If you've never tried cutting an empty aluminum can, it's way more difficult than cutting a full one. If you do cut a full one, make sure you drink the contents, and then fill it with water or something boring.

Waa waaaaa... LightChopper fell 3', edge first onto the concrete floor. Did more damage to the floor. Video was shot AFTER the fall.

Wow Lorien, how much force did it "fall" with?

Those cider's have anything to do with it??

I have footage of it, if you really want to see it...

And, the answer is 42.

I can imagine well enough, my wife has a nice scar on her face from a sharp stick and too much to drink while camping.

If I had a dollar for every time I have heard, "hold my beer and watch this...."

:D

sorry for taking so long, but here it is. I figured it fell with about the same force as if you were to take a 1/2 swing at a concrete floor. The edge bevel on this thing is getting pretty fat with all the sharpening I've had to do as a result of doing dumb things like this.

Whoops.

Arbutus is a Pacific Northwest hardwood, which generally decays rather quickly after it dies and falls to the ground. Sometimes, it doesn't fall to the ground, and remains suspended instead. This make for VERY tough wood! This limb has been in the way for a couple of years at least, and showed no sign of rot. It was beastly.

Thanks to Justin, I now have a Chris Reeve Sebenza to play with. I understand that they are NOT meant to be flicked open...

I started playing the second video then turned away to grab my drink and have a sip while I watched, and I thought for a second the woodpecker was going at the side of my house again. I was like MOTHER$(#@ Ohh wait it's Lorien!

I discovered how to speed up and slow down my videos, oh the shenanigans!
