TGLB, Convince me

Busse: Mod it and your mod causes the knife to fail--> voided warranty

Esee: Mod it and your mod causes it to fail--> warranty repaired

I'd like to see an example of a Busse voided warranty. Not too long ago a guy in Russia bought a used knife that had questionable grinding done to it. Then it broke. Busse took care of the issue in the form of shop credit. Even though it was modded.

Just going by the fine print, personally I have never seen a broken Busse.

Lets gets back on topic.

I have seen a few broken Busses. All taken care of. I know it's a stretch but Esee doesn't warranty the light machete because they don't make it directly. Yes they say they will try to work something out but I have never heard of a Busse exception on any knife. Even those super thin steak knives.

OK now let's get back on topic.

Buy it...if you don't like it resell it at most your out the shipping cost.......all things in life should be so simple.

That's exactly right and how I look at any Busse purchase, as long as it's bought at a good price of course.

Tanker Gray and black canvas has a classic look imo. Blue/black G10 if you want something more showy. Great feeling knife as other's have said. I can only think of one occasion right now where someone on the forums didn't like the TGLB after they got it. I have gotten Swamp Rats and Scrap Yards that needed sharpening. My Busse's have at worst needed a light touch on a steel. No biggie to me but others freak out. My feeling is if a person can't sharpen a knife they should get another hobby. Folks here love to show others their knives so maybe someone close by to you will chime in and offer to meet up with you and let you handle their TGLB (and probably a box full of other Busse's, Swamp Rats, and Scrapyard's as well).

Although that is not the factory edge. I sharpened that myself.

What if you went to the Busse web site to look at the knife one more time and it was no longer available. I bet you would want one then.
One day Busse will quite making the TGLB. We will all talk about the good ole days when you could buy a TGLB in the color of your choice for under 400.
The TGLB is my favorite kind of large Busse. I would like a few more. I have been on a gun kick here lately.
Go on and do it. if you don't like it sell it. You will always get your money back.

Looks like green & black G10 to me.

Yeah, I could believe that. It is right on the border on my screen as to whether it is a light green or a dark tan. That's the bad thing about computer screens; the adjustment can be different, and totally change how something looks...

The TGLB was my second Busse knife, I now own three !!! Could possible go for #4 lol, I really do like it that much. Two of mine came really sharp, the third just needed a strope and it was good to go. Like its already mentioned above, it's a great knife and the price is hard to beat.

Ordered:

TGLB. Tanker Gray with Tan/Black G10

What my wait going to be in this?

Two Weeks? Lol
