My TGLB got here yesterday, finally got some better pictures.

Hopefully, when i get the chance to do this with the DSLR, i might get some better closeups of the INFI "skin."

It far exceeded my expectations, and the gals at customer service were awesome, as usual!

I think the title covers it... needless to say, i'm all :D

This is right out of the cardboard, BTW, so those are patterns, not scratches.

TGLB just looks all business

TGLB blade right...

TGLB right...

Feels good...

bossman

TGLB tip left...

Any angle is great

shiny!

Cousins?

It's my first post with pictures not hosted here, i hope this works!

That looks great, I should've got mine that way. I may have to order another.

Thanks, i got the idea when BigDumplings posted his pics... i was lucky to be able to change the order.

But i think i would have bought another if i couldn't have changed... it is that cool.

Such a purdy looking blade. Love the comp finish. I'm tempted to pick up another TGLB but there are so many color combos to choose from.

Well then, if it's the "color" decisions you're worried about, i figure you could justify one like this because it's the closest we can get to "colorless." ;)

That is seriously beautiful!!

I got mine with black canvas. Haven't heard of or seen any others with that combo. In general the CF seems to be pretty rare because no one knew it was an option.

I only learned about it the day before I ordered.

Have you gotten it yet? Pics pics pics! Would love to see black canvas on the CF. I actually ordered black paper on sage, and when i changed the order to CF, i didn't even think about how the handles would look, and didn't change it. I got lucky that it worked  but am really interested in seeing other options!

Love the competition finish. Looks to be begging for a good beating.

Funny you should say that... because the form factors of the R6 and the TGLB are so similar, i was thinking maybe i'd beat up the R6, and make the TGLB a safe queen investment.

But this CF look does just scream "yup, i'm bad! beat me, beat me!"

So, the R6 is gonna go in the safe instead.

That looks really cool, you are going to cost me money :)

I don't have it yet. I'm guessing it'll be another 4-6 weeks until it's ready to ship.

Off question here, but Black G10 and Black Paper look the same...what's the difference?

Thanks

I hear that G10 is more durable and less "slick" or something...

i think it's more like "30 bucks" ;)

Hopefully someone with experience with both might chime in. But since i didn't know, i just went with the paper micarta.

If I get a second TGLB, I'm torn between black/tan G10 and CF, tan canvas with black finish, black canvas with CF or black paper with CF. That being said I'm also been wanting a Custom Shop NMSFNO as well. Oh decisions, decisions.
