Thank you, Everyone

Well I don't know who you are(maybe because I'm new) but welcome back anyways. :)

I'm a bit of a lurker, check here everyday but I don't post often. This is definitely my fav sub forum here @ BF.

Brian,

You have brought (or brought back?) a needed element to the forum! If I ever get over to Conn., the beers are on me.

Brian, I had not known about your accident and only yesterday, from reading through some posts here did I find out about your lengthy ordeal. I'm glad you are back and that your recovery is going so well. I look forward to getting together and having a brew or two around the fire with you.

Brian, got your email...I sent a reply but it is either stuck in your spam box or something because I just got a message from your email server saying ..it says it is "temporarily deferred due to user complaints"

Also there must be something wrong with my bladeforum account because I don't have access to your profile menu - I can see the link for your forum email but it won't allow me to send you a message - interesting.

Quirt,

That's weird. Never heard of that happening. Try my alt email (I don't use it much but will check it): email removed so the spambots can't get me!

Guys, now you're making me have thoughts about how many free beers I might be able to wrangle out of this!:D

Marcelo, the hardest part of my recovery to deal with in many ways was the rollercoaster. It was ebb and flow. I'd think I was recovered then would experience backslides again - one step forward, two steps back. I kept trying to jump back into things then sort of "flake out" again because I was all over the place. Most of my friends and associates understood, but I lost a couple valued relationships because of my unreliability and inability to stay the course. I dropped the ball badly a few times. That sucked.

So, I've waited until I had at least a full year of constant improvement without backsliding before I felt comfortable really jumping in again. So, here I am!

Sent! I sent it to your tactical account.

Yea I have very limited features on this forum...I cannot go to your profile for example and do a "post search by user" or click on your email link - everytime it comes back saying I don't have access to those features...not sure what is going on with my account.

You have to have at least a basic paid membership to access those features. I think it's only $10 or so.

Thanks, Brian. This is certainly my favorite sub-forum. Everyone is so easy going in here! I wish I was closer to where most of everyone seems concentrated up north, I'd give you the money to buy the beers, since I can't yet myself!
