Thank You For Your Service GAW! WINNERS POSTED! AGAIN!

Dang I just read rule #7 I'm out.

Hey, Jason,

I just spoke with A Twisted Staple (because he is helping with this GAW) and we both agree that your entry is still valid. So you still have a chance.

Rule #7 is in place to keep out people that are just here for the GAWs. You are a paid member in good standing and have plenty of post. I don't think rule seven applies.

If I ever have another GAW, I am not sure that I will have a rule seven.

Good Luck,

-Lynn

Not sure if I qualify but "I served" in the South African Navy (1975 - 1976). When becoming a US Citizen I was too old to join the US Forces :).

KG4ULR,

A Twisted Staple has a say in the rules of this GAW because he is providing a mystery knife. Lets see if your number comes up and then I can speak with him and we will come to an agreement about you.

Hi everyone,

We now have a picture of what a Kershaw Echelon looks like thanks to A Twisted Staple. Look in post number three. Picture is about the correct size too. At least on my computer screen, anyway.

That picture is for the type 2 Echelon. Just like what is up for grabs.

Only three more days!

I hope everyone took some time to remember the real reason for memorial day.
Respect to all of our Veterans on this forum.

Hello everyone,

Entries for this GAW are now closed and it is now time to give away a Kershaw Echelon knife.

Before I do, I must say thank all of you for your service to our great nation. You deserve more than just a simple pocket knife. Also, a big thank you to A Twisted Staple for his kindness in providing the mystery knife in this GAW. I have seen pictures of the knife and would not mind owning it myself.

FYI, We had 46 post in this thread with thirteen eligible entries. Three more were eligible but declined to be included. Thirteen! No wonder this GAW has had problems.

The Echelon winner must email me at "sabrecat19@gmail.com" with full name, street address and phone number so that I can ship the knife this coming Monday or Tuesday. If I do not receive this information before Tuesday, June 9, 2015, I will draw another number. If needed, Twisted will contact me to generate another number for the mystery knife. It is up to the winner of the mystery knife to contact A Twisted Staple with shipping information.

I will be using Random.org for generating all numbers for this GAW and starting out with two numbers. The first number will for the Echelon and a second number for the mystery knife provided by A Twisted Staple. Knives will be shipped using the USPS and basic fees are to be paid by myself or Twisted. Any extra fees are to be paid by the winner. I will request that this thread be closed after both winners have received their knives and posted as such here on BF.

Back in a few moments with the winning numbers. Good luck every one!

Thank you for the gracious opportunity. I served in the United States Air Force from 1975 thru 1979 as a firefighter, and I continue that as a career yet today.

(edited for "fat finger" affliction...:) )

WE HAVE A WINNER!

Weedhopper, you are the winner of the Kershaw Echelon. Congratulations!

Please email me at sabrecat19@gmail.com with shipping info.

Woo hoo! Thank you very much to you both.

I just sent an email to A Twisted Staple via the email feature on his profile. Not sure if he'll be able to respond to me; I'm not familiar with the communication on this site.

I have been in contact with him through BF and it worked OK. Just a little slow.

I hope that Weedhopper gets through to me. I don't see any way to do so on his profile info.

Congratulations to the winners, Thank you to sabre cat and Twisted Staple.
Thanks to all the Veterans.
God bless America.

Mystery knife is a Rough Rider Dogleg Jack. I can't for the life of me find a usable pic of the knife and I've already boxed it up to ship. It's a cool/unique little knife that I won in a giveaway myself actually. I really like it, but it's just never found its way into my carry rotation. Thought I'd pass it along to a new home.

Hi everyone, I never though it would be so hard to give someone a knife. It has been fun though. Maybe I will do this again. Any suggestions for a budget knife GAW?

Unfortunately Weedhooper has not been in contact with me about shipping information for the Echelon. Because of this, I have used Random.org again and the lucky number tonight is the big ONE ZERO. That's right, the number ten. Velitrius, I think that would be you, my friend. Please email me with your contact information so that I can send you the Echelon.

Congratulations, Velitrius!
