It is the Memorial Day week end and even thought we need to say it more often.

Thank You for all that you and those that have served with you have done to give me the freedoms I enjoy. Also Special Thanks to the ones who have given all for our freedoms. John 5:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

And a prayer for all of those curently on the battle lines giving us thier best so we can enjoy simple freedoms like this website or the right to go to the corner market to by what we want.

WE ARE PROUD OF YOU

Thank you and you're welcome! God bless all the Vets and active duty service men and women where ever they may be! -Matt-

Thats really cool Larry, we tend to forget the most important things at times.
Thankyou veterans and active service men and women for fighting for our freedom that we take for granted too often. I cant imagine where we would be without you.

Thank you for all you've done and did...
I've got nothing but respect and admiration for the men and women who are and have served

I posted this on my forum first thing this morning:

Today is Memorial Day. A day set aside to honor this nation's heroes......that being the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines who have kept this country and her people safe and free. Its a time to honor not only those fallen heroes, but also those who are alive and well. Whomever you envision as a hero, take the time to remember their sacrifices in the name of this Great Nation and her People.

Officially, today at 3pm is set aside as a moment of silence to remember.

Remember the courage they've shown, the blood they've spilled, and ask yourself if you love this nation enough to offer your life for its safety, security, and freedom. Without those who do/did, its likely that all of us would be living a very different life.

We are truly a blessed nation, and a blessed people. Remember those who have chosen to dedicate their lives to secure that blessing and ensure it's continuance.

I will spend part of this day at my local Memorial Day Ceremony.
My heart-felt thanks go to all those who protect my freedoms.

Thanks guys. Vets don't get enough appreciation in today's current political climate... not that we served in order to receive anyone's appreciation, mind you.

God and and the soldier, all men adore
In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted,
God is forgotten and the soldier slighted.

Well, perhaps not today.

Thank You and You are Welcome.

Strange to think: if I had stayed in the Navy, I could have retired 5 years ago.

Thanks to all that have served if wasn't for you i couldn't do what i please to do

Y'all are welcome..... there are sheep, wolves and sheepdogs in this world. The sheepdogs don't expect much more than a pat and kind word everynow and then but please make sure when you get a chance tell someone in uniform "thank you" because there are only 3 categories of military personnel at the moment:

Those that are there
Those that are coming home
Those that are going there

Troops understand that the politicians are full of it but to not be appreciated by the citizens is more than they can bear.
