I recently acquired a Bob Terzoula custom folder from this gentleman. Smooth and prompt transaction. He answered all my questions and made sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. Thank you.

Well, that isn't good and only conveys a very obvious forced reply, especially as being a first post and brand new member. Seen it before, oh well. Those with long memories that like to make notes on these topics will take it under advisement I'm sure.

Not only does it smell fishy but it smells downright rotten. "Dean Vidal" (not referred to as Rolexonado) received 3 of these same posts in the gbu within 2 days. In fact 2 were on the same day. It appears on the surface that he issuing shill accounts to bolster his "reputation" here on bf.

I understand your concern regarding bogus feedback, but in this case you are mistaken. The only reason the feedback came within three days of each other is because I emailed several people on the same day asking them to leave me feedback.

Send me your email address and I'll forward you Paypal receipts and emails from the buyers which you can cross reference with the items that I sold on this forum. Legitimate feedback, for items sold on this forum, to other members of this forum.

Dean, the "awkwardness" is related to asking people to register on a forum they otherwise would not necessarily have been on to leave you feedback. That in and of itself carries very little weight compared to feedback say from an active vetted member of the community that has been around for years. It might be simple and innocent enough, but it also seems contrived and as if someone is trying too hard.

You don't have a paid membership. How did you sell items on this forum?

He was gold just a few days ago. Looks like his membership has since expired.

The three people who left me feedback are members of this forum, who purchased items on this forum, which were listed for sale by me on this forum. I can post copies of the checks and Paypal payments which correspond with the items I listed for sale here. If need be, I can ask the buyers to post pictures of the times they purchased (which correspond to pictures of items listed on this forum) on a current edition of their local newspaper. One buyer is in South Africa, the other in California and the other in New York. What else can I do to satisfy you guys that the feedback is legitimate?

You must admit though that it is a bit odd that this very thread was started by a brand new member who only joined to leave you good feedback. It is a red flag that we have seen before.

What else can I do to satisfy you guys that the feedback is legitimate?

I don't think you need to do much else. Just keep doing what you are doing with out any issues.

I've done a couple of deal with Dean, also on Terzuolas,
Never had any problems and he is who he says he is
The 2 knives were an Mk-1 with mokume bolster and a Zirconium bolster with damsascus blade I acquired from SICAC Paris.
We may have done another Terzuola but I dont recall exactly, I've been through so many now.

regards

Recently several members of this forum have accused me of drumming up fake feedback. This is entirely false.

Go to: Exchange
For Sale: Custom Knives (Individual)

Search Forum: rolexonado

You will find posts for several items I have sold on this forum. I have attached scans of the payments along with details about the transaction which correspond to the specific posts.

I have also cross-referenced the buyers of the items with feedback that was left for me. Real buyers, paying real money, for real items, leaving legitimate feedback.

I've done multiple deals on very high end terzuola knives with Dean and I'll say he's a great guy to deal with all around. I don't understand why some of you would jump to conclusions like that?? Know what they say about making assumptions right? So far I've got 5 Terzuola's from Dean! All of them in mint condition just as described with prompt shipment and great communication.

Start at the top and work your way down.

Were they on this forum? If so, where is the itrader? Other forum feedback, negative or positive doesn't work here, at least that is my understanding.

So far no one here who has stood up here and said he is a good guy to deal with, has an itrader review on him.

I already said my piece on this. It is strange that someone would join a forum only after doing a deal and start a thread to leave good feedback but leave no actual itrader feedback. This alone is not incriminating, just a red flag. I don't think Dean needs to prove anything here. So long as there are no negative threads about him.

Done that already... I'm simply stating that whatever implications assumptions or whatever you would like to call them about Dean is BS.

And no it wasn't on this forum but I don't see why that matters.... A good deal is a good deal no matter where it's done. Your rep will follow you regardless.
