Please excuse the scruffy shaggy beard, when I was a Chef I shaved everyday, when I was in beer sales I shaved everyday, when I went to the trades, winter equaled no shaving and not cutting my hair.
Thanks again Elliott,
Pete

Well, Zippity Doo Dah!

I'm glad it made it safe and sound and has found a purpose in life other than sitting unused on the shelf with some of my cigar knives, lighters and cutters.

It's my pleasure, Pete. Enjoy it in good health.

Great postal service

"It's that Condor moment" as the ads (over here at least) used to say in the 60's! :D

Great stuff Elliott

Your pipe tool went off today Pete - don't expect it this week! :D

Jack

I was away last week, so missed out on this fun. Congratulations Pete, and thanks Elliott and Jack!

Pete, we now share more than a peanut in common, although the finish is different on mine. Here's a shot of my Zippo pipe lighter I took soon after my peanut arrived, along with a Captain Peterson pipe that is older than me, and a few favorite accessories (I especially like the Nolan Wiley briar pipe tool).

Here's something you may enjoy

Nowhere near as good as the St Bruno ('The Patron Saint of Pipe Tobacco') ads from the 60's though! :D

That's a good one, Jack.

Thought you'd like that one Elliott ;)

In the one I was after, a rakeish-looking chap, wearing blazer and cravat, is walking along confidently smoking his pipe as more and more young ladies sniff the air and chase after him. He enters the gate to a large house, and his Yul Bryner-like bodyguard closes the gate on the now-screaming lovelies. The rake nonchalantly walks off, sucks on his pipe, half-turns and holds up a single digit, with the bodyguard responding by letting one 'lucky' girl in through the gate! It made me laugh out loud even as a kid! :D

Hmmm, I may need to start smoking a pipe...

Uh,...Pete...

;)

Thanks Jack, no worries, I'm grateful or your generosity ( and Elliott's ) also thanks for sharing the add.

Doug don't forget the small Schrade stockman we both share :-)
