Thanksgiving giveaway!

Great giveaway. I was graciously entered by Ellis Wyatt Ellis Wyatt so I’m going to pay it forward and enter for Gary 5K Qs 5K Qs When I see a canoe I think of Gary and as a canoe connoisseur, I’m sure he would enjoy this one.
I’m thankful for good camaraderie on the porch and a happy and healthy family. My Thanksgiving is a little weird this year. My wife and kids went to her parents’ and I had to stay home and tend to the cattle and pets. So here is a picture related to my Thanksgiving.

Fortunately my parents are live close by, so I’ll spent my Thanksgiving with them and my sister.

as a canadian I'm out,but I would like to thank America for the the vocals and song writing of the late richie blackmore ,the late great actor Peter o'toole and triumph motorcycles and last but not least Fawlty towers.

pat9198 pat9198 , many thanks for such a thoughtful and generous GAW.

That Case Canoe is, dare I use the term, "grail knife" of mine. Please consider this an entry in your GAW.

Jack Frost has found the Northland, blanketing it with snow. The country looks spectacular. Enchanted. It has become our home. Our cabin has a good stove, and a roof that does not leak. We are healthy in body and mind. We never call it a day wanting for sustenance, spiritually or nourishment. We have enough to live a meaningful life, with room to share with others that are not that fortunate. For that, friends, we are more than thankful.

Great GAW, please accept this as an entry for G Greasepiggy .

I'm thankful for a God so wonderful, that even during one of the darkest periods in USA's history it's president, Abraham Lincoln established a day of "Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens." I am also exceedingly thankful to God for my family and friends that He created and for the country in which He chose for me to live.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL !

Kind and thoughtful words. You’re eligible if you’d like to enter, it’s not just for the US members. 👍

Great day to host a GAW - nice Case Canoe! Not in as I already own the same knife and from the same year (I think - hard to read a Case Canoe's dots). We’re grateful for so much, but most grateful for our new Grandson, not quite a week old today (my youngest, the new Aunt, is mesmerized by him). Happy Thanksgiving! OH

What a great giveaway for Thanksgiving Day! Case's old red bone is their best, I think. I do have a nice amber bone canoe, so I would like to enter on behalf of mitch13 mitch13 .

Vince Lombardi said his priorities were "God, family, and football." I share two of those three. I am most thankful to God for the great love with which He hath loved us, in laying down His life for us. Family is next. I am blessed with a wonderful wife, six children, six grandchildren (so far), and my 92-year-old mother is still with us. Going to spend time with most of my family today. I am also grateful for my wife's pie making and my daughter's cookie making.

Heading over to my son's soon for some smoked turkey and other good things.
By "football", of course Lombardi meant his work. I am thankful for my job too. (And I love American football, despite what the Brits and Aussies say about it!).

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.

What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season. Thank you for your generosity. This year I am thankful for my growing family, my better half is pregnant with our 2nd child and we’re all excited to welcome a new member

Ever since I was young I always found myself helping in the kitchen for Thanksgiving. Like any good cook I always bring a sharp knife with me. This year I have a new one that needed a good workout to start the patina process

Please count me in!

Thanks, Im in.
This Thanksgiving was a bit of a rough one as my wife and I lost one of our pet rats (shown here in a big snuggle pile). Snow was a really old rat, and he lived a happy life. Im thankful for the time we got to have with him. We have a baby on the way, due in January, so there is some happiness headed our way soon. We went to see friends and eat dinner with them, so that was nice too. Kind of a bittersweet day.

I am thankful for all the friends I have made here, and among other things, our hardworking mods who help to keep The Porch porch-like :) If I may, I'd like to enter for Gary Peregrin Peregrin , who certainly fits into both of those categories :) Thanks for the generous giveaway Pat :)

Really generous of you, Pat. I have been the recipient of so many amazing gifts so I am not an entry. Kudos to you, my friend.

I am thankful for the many friends I have met here. I have only been here a short time, but feel like I have gained lifelong friends. I talk to numerous people here daily. Thank you for accepting me with open arms, Bladeforums !!!

At first I decided not to get theGAW, then I saw Âchillepattada's post and will join him in favor of Cosimo.
I have a lovely Canoë aka Baby Butter Bean (corny long name for such a small 'un!) which was my very first US collector knife I got from a picture on the bay. I had not realized how tiny it could be, but I'm still amazed by her nice and very usable blades.
