That knife others seem to find ugly, unworthy, or ridiculous, but that you are personally drawn to...

I thought this was a thread for ugly knives, so I wouldn't expect to see something so lovely here.

That one ain't too terrible.

I was wondering how you felt now about all those glitter recovers you had done on all those ebony knives

;) :D

When you really look at this style of knife , you have to ask " Who in the world would want to carry something that hideous ? " They actually are a pretty rugged and useful knife but they are a terrible to carry in a pocket . I always carry one in a belt holster .

Lol I never want to hurt anybody's feelings so sometimes I practice "if you don't have anything nice to say..." lol. But honestly I've always felt those things look all kinds of wrong! The spear point ones look a bit better, but just a bit! I figured they must work great because people do carry them.

Beautiful covers on both of those.

That is a model I would say definitely qualifies though, I know I sure find the pattern to be extremely ugly.
They look to be well thought out ergonomically and they sell, so regardless of looks there's gotta be something good about it.

I have given this some thought and I don't have any of the patterns I can think of that people tend to find ugly.
There's a lot I find ugly, but most of what i have/ like are all just common everyday patterns.

These probably just barely count, but I know GT doesn't like square bolsters.

Is there anybody else who doesn't like square bolsters ?
Coincidentally I don't like the rounded bolsters that much, I can't say I really hate them but in direct comparison I like these much more when it comes to serpentine Jack pen and stockman frames.

Thank you for the positive remarks my friend !!! They actually are a nice knife to work with . After the liner lock is engaged , you do not have to worry about it closing up . It was not that long ago that the jigged bone one was my EDC . They are UGLY but they are a good knife IMO .
