Ever had a knife that you keep trying to obtain, but somehow always gives you the slip? For me it’s the dastardly Scrapyard Son of Dogfather. Any one got a knife they’ve been chasing for a long spell while failing miserably to get ahold of?
 
It changes for me. For a while it was a Reate JACK 1.5, but I gave up. Now I’m happy… for the moment. Until I decide I need a Shiro Quantum Gen 2. 😉 (still looking for a G2 in trade but no cash for me)

Me too. And usually with me it’s more of a money issue lol..
But honestly I have enough knives for a few lifetimes, so these days when I want something bad enough I will sell something else to get it.

funny you mention the Quantum, as that was one of my grails at one point (a PJ Gen 1), but I “settled” for a Quantum Ursus. It’s still one of my favorites in my collection, it’s a perfect knife really.

Mine is the - hmmm...is it Desert Son of Dogfather, or Son of Desert Dogfather? Whichever it is, I've only seen one offered & it was both well used and way overpriced.
I'm about ready to give up and let go of my Desert Dogfather.


*Autocorrect almost got me; but I figured Jerry hasn't been (just) drunk enough to follow the trend and let the Yard release a Dessert Son of Dogfather.

I’ve been on the hunt for a black on black SOD for years! I do like the OG Dogfather, but I get more use out of my 7” blades over my 9-10” blades (except for the BK9).

I'll spot one now and then in the Exchange, too late of course because I don't have notifications or anything like that going.

One day I'll get me one. But it seems not today. 🤨
 
Swamp Rat Mini Mojo and M9. Always on the hunt, stars haven’t aligned… yet.

Got close to a MM a while back but the goober had it waaaaay overvalued and homey don’t play dat. I can wait.

Got the Mini Uncle Mojo and 2 M6s to cry into for now (which I like MUCH more than the two I’m after).:rolleyes:😆
