Yeah, duct tape is good stuff. It'd suck getting blood in your eye when you're trying to work, you did the right thing taping it up. Glad you got to keep both your eyes, grinding without depth perception would be a pain.
 
Wow, Don! I'm sure sorry you got injured, fella. That looks really painful. I'm sure glad you still have your eyes and nose. Lips are good to keep, too. Frowning and some facial expressions must really hurt, too. Hurry and get well, Don. I'm glad it wasn't a sharpened blade, or you would have a face full of stitches right now, and worse. If you end up with a scar, you are going to be one tough looking guy. Just think, you would have all the elbow room you want while bellied up to the bar.
