This is the third time i've had to re-adjust the pocket clip on my PM2, It's my work carry and I have no idea where it could have been snagging, I don't notice the bent pocket-clip until I reach to get it so I'm lucky I haven't lost it.
I don't need to deploy this knife quickly so down my pocket it goes :) Is this a constant problem for any of yall'?

Doing construction work, I've had that happen and now I carry in pocket. With my Sebenza, I use a pocket sheath. I reply don't need to deploy the knife fast at all

I've snagged clips before but I don't know how you can snag one that bad and not realize when you do it.

Get a shorter low-ride clip made out of high-grade titanium. Helped me a lot.

I scored this one for $15

Never had that problem before. Sometimes i use my pocket clips to hang my dads car keys on when I'm using his truck :). They haven't fallen off, and it quite convenient if i don't want to dig my hand in my pocket past my mt. Only started doing it because i had a injured hand after stabbing it with a nib endura, but i find it easy to have it hang there.

I recently started carrying a clip knife again after many years of pocket carrying only for the same reason. Truth be told my Case Trapper and Victorinox Tinker served me just fine and handled most any task that I demanded of it. For some reason I was drawn to start carrying a larger clip knife. I changed the pocket I carried it in and so far so good. At work I am constantly getting in and out of the car throughout the day and it was snagging on the door while riding in my right front pocket. I switched to carrying in my off hand pocket and after a couple of months I have not snagged it on anything.

Might be worth a shot to change the pocket and see if that helps. It will take some getting used to relearn years of muscle memory, but if it works for you then it still keep your knife close at hand.

Only time I bent a clip was on a 0560 hooking a seat belt and believe me I knew it when it sent me back into the pickup. Now I always check to make sure I'm clear when I jump out lol.

I've never clip carried. I pocket carry, usually in slip cases. I don't want to lose my knives. Never understood why clip carrying would be to any advantage other than quick-draw.

I think some people clip carry "just because it's there." I see a lot of clip carriers feeling their pants way too much.

One reason, especially with an assisted knife, is to keep the spine of the blade against the back of your pocket.

I clip carry for the simple reason that it keeps the knife out of the way of whatever else is in your pocket.

I'm a right front pocket guy and that pocket sees the most use for all kinds of other paraphernalia.

Since I personally cant, where I live, carry a knife in my pocket the problem is not personal. I do carry one in my pocket when I go in the forest, though. I suggest you search for folding knife pocket holsters, I have made some myself. They are relatively easy to make. The idea is to make a plastic or leather sheath so that it carries the knife upright in your pocket and won't let it fall horizontal. They also change the "print" on your pocket so that it does not look like you are carrying a blade.

For the same reason I pocket carry too. Happened to me a couple of times. Even on 1000$+ customs. Never again.

I tried a pocket clip once. I was gifted a knife that had one, and I tried it for a day or two. I don't how you guys do it, it drove me nuts, plies I lost it in my truck when I undid the seat belts. Found it when I got back in the truck. I ended up tossing the knife in the litchen drawer and kept on carrying my traditional pocket knife. I don't need to advertise I'm carrying a knife anyway, or where I have it. I like my knife shoved down in the bottom of the pocket out of the way it I'm going in that pocket after anything else. Not in the way up top at the opening of the pocket.

I've carried folders clipped in my right front pocket for years and don't recall ever having this problem with snagging or bending a clip.

I can't count how many times I've re bent my pocket clips on my military, termite, and I think my Gayle Bradley once as well. I work on large trucks and do heating installation, tight spaces and moving around under trucks usually gets me 2-3 times a year.
