Glock firearms are a standard for durable firearms that just work. They are basic, no frills, nothing special to look at firearms that can take heavy abuse and keep on going. They just WORK.

What’s the “Glock” of folding knives? What knife can take years, even decades, of abuse and just keep on working?

Their Glock fixed blade. What made Gaston famous before the firearm.

Never owned one but there sure is a lot of torture videos about it.

Any CRK would qualify I guess. I also trust backlocks, maybe even more, such as the Spyderco Native. And slipjoints - even less things that can go wrong, like an Alox Pioneer.

Since knives are way easier and simpler to be manufactured and maintained than handguns, it could be hardly judged by the same standard of Glock handgun vs the rest. There are way too many offers.

The designs can be copied easily, so really not hard to find something reliable.

Benchmade Griptillian is considered a classic no frills solid folder, IMO that would be close to knives what Glock is to guns. As others have stated, Endura or Delica another solid choice. You have to take into account the price point as well, Glocks are reliable guns at a competitive price, so I would think you want the knives to have a middle of the road price point as well.

This was the first one I thought of, but I’ve had axis locks Jam from a bit of sand, which isn’t very “Glock” like, the simplicity and polymer bits fit the bill, though!

Hard to say because my experience with Glock has been ugly, uncomfortable, and inaccurate. Reliable, yes, but so are a lot of guns.

I guess the FRN series of Spyderco's (Endurance/Endela/Delica etc) would perhaps work.

I view Glocks as fairly reasonably priced ultra dependable but very ugly firearms. CRK’s are most certainly dependable and built for a lifetime but are hard to get and expensive so I put those on a higher rung than a Glock. Possibly a Microtech Socom or any number of the better quality (not necessarily the lighter faster more flimsy) Benchmades would be an equal comparison. Lots of knives in that quality/price range.
