Curious what your thoughts were on the silver stag. I followed a YouTube outdoor channel for a long time who used their kitchen and fillet knives, I didn’t know they made folders. Always thought about buying one of their fillet knives. There’s like a tourist trap gift store about an hour away that sells their stuff, they might have some of the folders now, not sure.Puma :

I like knives from Otter Messer too.
Most of mine needed the polishing compound washed outta the joints and a keener edge put on, but I always do that kinda stuff anyway so no biggie ‘round here!
I love watching the otters do their thing at the zoos and wildlife museums I’ve visited. Haven’t seen any in the wild yet, but there’s supposed to be a thriving population here in ‘Ol Virginny. I think part of the allure for me with these knives is their logo of the otter with a fish.Fine Otter clutch (they're a beautiful animal too, can't understand why people have to 'hunt' them..) Really like that White Bone example, must try and keep an eye out for one. Good point about removing the 'gunk' from the joints- even GECs need these treatments too...
) Nice simple elegant knives those Otters, that's exactly what's needed.
Thanks, Will
Nice choice. Mine has the strongest snap of all of my knives. That is easy to do!
The lambsfoot is the obvious choice, but I really like the wharncliffe Barlow because it's a bit easier to pinch open.
Today is actually a sheepsfoot swayback with ebony covers for wooden wednesday. Very nice knife!
