The 110 S90 v

Yes, just on the notice he had shipped it and with the tracking numbers. Yes, the next day. When you receive it if you can give us a photo and let us know what you think of your blue. DM

Absolutely. I’m sorry I asked the same question in the other thread. I forgot to edit that out once I found this more appropriate thread for such a question. I received notice last night, it should ship today. Will report back with pictures and impressions

Must be a finishing error since the scales and bolsters look lined up. The blade seems a little thicker though. I had posted about this in the past about my custom shop 110 but I never went anywhere with it other than writing them an "angry letter".

Is the gap/twist and uneven grinds something I need to just get over and move on? If this is normal, or acceptable considering the price, I will understand and enjoy. I like the knife. I just do not know. My four other 110’s are not like this.

I can live with it, as long as it is not something that would be considered unacceptable to our community. I say that, because if it is a fine example in the eyes of respected forum members and Buck experts that means I am being nit-picky and need to stop. I know in my mind it will not effect function.

They are a great knife. Im sure there are some sharpening jobs out there that would destroy the factory edge.:D Probably shaving sharp right now.

If that isn’t an understatement.

I’m sure it will even out over time, after several sharpenings.

Clearly on that alone I would send it back. I don't see how that wouldn't bother everyone.

edit, sorry I mistook the button snap for grinding error.

I’m going to use it. If I really can’t get over it, which I am certain I will forget as easily as I noticed, then I will send it in. I’d like to enjoy it for a while, it has already become hard to let go of. Overall, very fine knife indeed.

WOW! Thanks for pointing that out Wallace. I didn’t notice that when I first looked at the photo.

There’s no excuse for the front of the frame sides to not line up.

You should send that back without hesitation. I’m pretty capable and have the tools to fix that myself, but I would probably send it back as well.

That was actually the button on the sheath, as was edited to add. Bad photography on my part.

Shew! I was trying to figure out how they did that.

That was the only thing I couldn’t live with. Enjoy!
