Hope everyone had an amazing holiday. I know I did with my wife and girls. Big thanks to Emerson for existing and getting on my Xmas list.
My wife was cool enough to get me some Emerson gear.
Including a new cross bones winter hat and a few nice T shirts and a sweatshirt. All of which are pretty Bad A$$.

Now for the knife she picked me up a nice new clip and the Blue TI thumb disk. Which has a nice more aggressive knurling compared to my old stock disk and is just a tiny bit bigger. About half a mm.

I am not sure. My 13 is all set so I think I need a mini emerson to carry. For when I do not have my Ti-lock.
So this spring my goal is to pick up a tiny emmy and a fixed blade for chopping and heavy bushcraft and gardening.
I do not need a fixed blade the size of my 13. It can handle that weight class on its own.
How about you. Lots of 7's in your future.

Thanks buddy. She is amazing. That dog is in love with my wife. Wont leave her side and will eat any man that goes near her or the kids lol. He is all bark.
 
Here's my Christmas 13 that arrived today so is bone stock except for a little tuneup .

I remember when I was about 13 my mom ordered one of those crazy knife stockings back in the day with like 20 knives. Mostly frost and rough rider but what a feeling. That really made my condition much worse.
 
These 13's do have a sexy blade !

That is a sweet lookin' 13. I really like that blue ti thumbdisk. May have to put one on my new 7V. Your pup is really special, too. Sittin' at attention for the camera. Congratulations on both of them.

My Dobie loves to have her picture taken. She'll wait until you're ready and then pose until she hears the shutter "click".

Dogs are funny. He is so loyal. We rescued him at 8 months from a bad situation and he is almost fully recovered besides anxiety and being protective. All his shots, fixed and ready to go. But what a big cute baby he is. Im so happy how in love my kids are with him. He really thinks he is there brother. And acts like it too. Never leaving there side.

His name, Tyson.

Thanks for posting Bella, I was very curious about the new discs, I assume they are made of titanium? I like the blue but I'm more of a bronze dude, I hope they make some in bronze one day. Love the clip too, it's amazing what these tiny changes do to these awesome blades.

And I agree, nice wife and pup! I don't know any one who doesn't like women, knives and dogs, in that order, :) Happy new year guys!!

Think I changed it a week or so ago can't remember lol . It was kind of a trading thing because every time I traded a knife with a trading buddy he would put up a avatar of the knife he got from me and I would do the same lol .

Sorry I derailed the topic. I was just curious, as always. Thanks for the reply though.

Back to the topic, I'm starting to lust for these blades now, like in a crazy way; I don't have any Bowie shaped Emersons, but my credit cards are maxed out as usually happens during Christmas; I'm hanging tight to the last two Emersons I have, I will not sell them, I made that mistake too many times in the past already; but I hope to have a brand new Roadhouse if everything goes well this coming month.

Thanks again; I wish I had a wife who liked knives; I don't have a wife and that is somehow a curse and a blessing at the same time. :).

You really should.
That Persian is my next favorite looking Emerson next to the Tiger due to the handle matching the 13.
But I am open to my next being small.
What are the smallest models emerson offers?
