The 13 with some new bling. And my dog.

You really should.
That Persian is my next favorite looking Emerson next to the Tiger due to the handle matching the 13.
But I am open to my next being small.
What are the smallest models emerson offers?

Well there is the mini line up, but i think the micro commander and traveler are the smallest.

They are. IIRC, both are DC'd but still available from a few sites. I may be wrong about the Traveler, but I'm sure the micro-Com is discontinued. I guess the mini-7s are the next smallest.

Good point I think they maybe diso'ed... However as you mentioned they can still be found. I love my traveler, I trade off my micro-comm though.

I just posted in another thread what a great "pocket knife" my micro-Commander makes. That blade scales down so well yet remains "big"...it's deceiving. And the closed size is great for any pocket.

STOP! Yer forcin' me to go north of the border and pick one up.

Thank for the heads up Dale. My wallet will have to say no for now.

Dale- You will love it!

I already have... twice. Sold 'em both. Hoping the third time's a charm. I've always been impressed by Emerson's treatment of smaller knives. They've been reduced in length and height a bit, but not in "stockiness". The handles are almost full thickness and the blades are as stout as their larger kin. Makes for a very dependable smaller knife that isn't "delicate".

This is gonna be Emerson #10. I now have more Emersons than any other brand. And I've pretty well settled in to a daily carry of an Emerson folder and a BRKT Northstar EDC. Haven't carried anything but an Emerson folder for a couple of months now.

You're welcome. They do come up on the exchange once in a while. And the prices you saw on that site were CDN dollars. Mine was < $200 even with cross border shipping. Round about $193 IIRC.

Dale- 3rd time, buddy.
I like how some EKI models can handle BIG well. That Ernest knows his knife stuff.

Got a cheap mini 7 lined up with a member. Should be a sweet side kick for my 13. Im rather excited for my first seven.

Really enjoying my 13 and what a great slicer and working knife . It's definitely the best at it out of any knife in my modest collection [emoji106]🏻
Wouldn't mind getting a smaller companion but don't know if my 13 will share any pocket time [emoji6]

I really hope those mini-7s aren't disco'd. I know the 7Bs are still plentiful, but I'm gettin' worried about seeing any more mini-7As. I really like that knife and I hope Emerson does at least one more run of them. I'll buy two more and put them away for future use.

It seems like a stout little knife. And for 80$. Im only in 200$ on my first two Emersons. Not so bad. And since I tinker. I buy used knives 90% of the time saving some dough. I would not trade my 06/13 for two new ones. It is too perfect now. Atleast until I double my salary in a few years ;)
Id like to see the micro commander next to a mini 7. I think I need to check the tube.

I have pocket room because I carry the 13 in a sheath anytime that I am out or on the job. So I have an empty pocket just for my ti lock or the new (as soon as I pay for it) mini 7.
