The 1st cut is the deepest. Are you loyal to your 1st CRK model?

I only have one, bought used to replace a Bechmade griptilan that replaced a bench made AFCK. I carried the AFCK for over 10 years before I lost it. Griot iliac was a six month stand in. I've had my BG-42 Sebenza as my EDC for four years now.

The AFCK was my EDC before the Sebenza as well, old school round hole part serrated ATS-34 model.
 
I was beholden... for a long, long, time. But I eventually did sell my first (pic below) in favor of another (below pic below):





I still have the jeans, tho' - Hehehe!
 
My first was a large regular with double thumb lugs that I bought back in 06. It's still my favorite knife. I've own two other 21s, but sold them.
 
My first CRK was the small OPK Shadow III, my first CRK folder was a Large Regular Sebenza with BG-42 steel. I still have both and they are among my favorites.
 
Fiercely so. It took me the better part of a decade to buy a Sebenza, a plain large Regular. To this day it remains my one and only CRK. Wood inlays, CGG, 21, 25, Insingo, Mnandi, Umnumzaan -- not interested. This knife is more than enough for me.



The only other CRK I want is a flat-ground BG-42.
 
If I still had it I would still carry it. Small Regular.

Your guess is as good as mine as to where it is in the world.

Bought my Lg Reg in 2008. The first CRK I ever bought, since have owned over a dozen. Today that first CRK, large reg is my only CRK. The only knife I can say that I'll never sell.

This sebenza has had some of the very best companions money can buy, but it is still the only knife I plan to keep forever!

This is the current rotation minus the hinderer. But this knife has definitely stood the test of time! Best knife over ever owned.

My first CRK was an Umnumzaan, one of my favorite EDCs. But I recently bought a Small 21 plain Jane Sebenza and love it. I don't see any knife knocking it out of the pocket, including some customs I have on order. Well maybe a Small Carbon Fiber Sebenza Insingo, if I can find one.
 
My first CRK was a large regular. I wish I still had it, but I like my micarta Large 21's better. Also wish I had kept all of my Umnumzaan's, but at least they are still in production.
 
Yes, my first in 2006 was a small classic unique graphic, and as you can see it gets plenty of use.

My first CRK was a small Classic Sebenza with lignum vitae inlays that my sons gave me for Christmas several years back. It's not going anywhere, at least while I'm still on this side of the grass. ;)
 
Nice grouping Chad!! I think I would try to add a 25 or Zann to that rotation! The Large "Regular" is a fantastic knife!! But looking at the other "Modern" Tactical knives in your rotation I am thinking that the Umnumzaan or 25 would really suit you and the photo would change a little.. Regular Sebenza, Umnumzaan, Sebenza 25, XM-18, SNG, Emerson. But hey I am bias to anything CRK!!:D Great Photo!! Thanks for shareing!!
