The 2024 F**** K****?

If GEC make it, it will be whatever GEC is making at the time, with some cover variation and some special writing on the blade.

It could also be a Laguiole/Le Thiers etc., for a change of theme. Many French makers make customised knives.
Joker in Spain could also probably make something.

Ofcourse, everybody wants a GEC, for obvious reasons, especially since this forum is US oriented.

I wish they made less with blade adornment/writing. It's so personal, it seems more at risk to turn people off I don't get why it's so popular. I am always tempted to take em off.

I like simple clean stuff. I am also personally a little done with the flashy chrome bolster thing. Don't even want the lines or letter on em. A single simple clean like is okay but not needed. Feels too old school or whatever.

I'd love to see a lambsfoot but is that less of a seller or perhaps it's unique and special? Is the point to make money for the site or make a cool knife (or both)?

I am not a huge fan of these exotic blades, razor, spey, tobacco/cotton (whatever that is called). Give me a single drop point. (Two blade max). I've always wondered why the smaller blade is always spear and not a whittle blade. If I have to have a warnie seems more appropriate on the small side but a lamb or sheep small seems more interesting.

Maybe some brushed nickle bolsters (on whatever) and satin blade no writing with something slicey. No shield(?) or simple, acorn, leaf... ,

Some highly figured wood maybe birds eye maple. Simple clean...smooth white bone or white with just accent color/grain fill would also work.

I tend to prefer small to medium slicey blades the most. But I notice the peanut is not getting pocket time while the pocket congress and clerk are. That's the sweet spot.

Trying to up my participation and boost the ole post count a bit, I think commenting does that. 100 on the porch right?

I don't care for blade writing either. So you're not alone. I also don't care for funky names. I don't mind things like lines or whatever, but I certainly don't want much adornment on my knives.

I like blade writing/etching!! Because it's Old School!! I love traditional Knives!!!
I wonder if someone would be willing to put the US Constitution on my Peanut Blade???? That would be cool!!!😁
Or maybe my shopping list:rolleyes:- how handy!!
