If it does at all, I’d believe it does so indirectly in the form of building membership, and even then I’m not sure it benefits him. Spark has indicated he’s selling the preorders at a loss. If it’s going to be $250 I’d rather profits go to Spark and/or GEC.
 
You know I have been patient and not chimed in befrore now... Where is any update since 2 weeks ago. I bought as a gift and it doesnt look good?

They will be here when they get here....I don't remember seeing any guarantees for shipping dates....

Yeah,,, this thread was started by a guy who doesn't even pack his own lunch, and who certainly doesn't have any influence over this project. Check the official thread mentioned above by others. Otherwise, what I've gathered is that the knives are 'here' and being mailed out now. It's 600 knives, and the process takes a while. Complaining won't speed things up any.
