When I noticed I had two post to go to make it to 500 in the thread and had 2992 posts on the forum, I decided to make that post the double milestone. Of course, I had to control myself to make it happen, but I had already committed earlier to do the 500 post giveaway, so it was very minor manipulation on my part.

A note on the "registered member" requirement - if you can post to bladeforums you had to register as a member, so if you can post, you meet this requirement. It seems to have confused Scott, so I'll adjust my first post to eliminate the confusion.

And a note to Andi and others, there is no exception for folks that have won a give away or have received a knife from me at some time. If you post in this thread, you are entered in the give away if you also posted in the "What Traditional are you totin?" thread, you are qualified to win the knife.

Get in here. If you posted in that thread, you have contributed to my Bladeforums experience and for that I am grateful. You all deserve a knife, but I don't have enough to give out to everyone.

Fausto, cop outs like that are not allowed in this give away. You should have stayed out if you didn't want "in."

You have contributed much to the "totin" thread and to this subforum in general and thus have been a positive influence to me and others that visit here. Thank you very much for your contributions.

I wasn't going to post an entry because I'm new around here and generally let these go by until I feel I've 'paid my dues', but I've been living in that wonderful thread for a few weeks before I joined, and that knife is just too tempting to pass up. Plus I wouldn't want to offend your generosity :) Please count me in. Thanks!

I post every once in a while in the What you totin thread, but it just usually just makes me wish I had more knives!:D

I'm closing in on a milestone, as well, and am heavily debating my giveaway for that.
