Congratulations Peter, you've won a fine-looking knife there, look forward to seeing more of it :)

Thanks again for a very generous giveaway Ed

Congrats Peter!!!
Thanks for all you do here Ed and thanks for the chance.

Congrats to Peter! Tats a fine knife you just won:thumbup:

Thank You Ed, not just for the GAW, but for all that you bring to the table here:thumbup:

Wow! Thanks Ed J! Thanks everyone. The only thing I have ever won was a Bottle of Ripple Wine at a party some 40 years ago...that was the last thing I needed at the time, as it was a mid night raffle...and it was a party.

I really look forward to toting that fine knife. Thanks again for the opportunity.

Peter

Congrats Peter, look forward to hearing your impressions of the S&M.

Ed, heck of a giveaway, thanks for the chance and thanks for all the great posts

Ah, at last it's safe to post. :D

By the way, this give away is for everyone to enter. I enter lots of give aways, not because I want a bunch of free knives, but because the originator of the give away wants to show appreciation to the forum members. So, don't hesitate to join in the give away. Or I might even get more pushy next time.... :D :D

I have been warned! As one who is the on-going beneficiary of one of Ed J's previous generous giveaways (the Christmas Eve Silver Knight), I really did want someone else to have a (better) chance at this one. Well-done, Ed, including all the planning that went into getting the timing down. Whew!

Congrats Peter, look forward to hearing your impressions of the S&M.

Ed, heck of a giveaway, thanks for the chance and thanks for all the great posts

Agreed, on all counts. :)

Heck, Sarah, it didn't take planning, just some restraint to make it happen. You started it when you said in some thread that someone had the most posts in that thread. Well, I knew when I read that I would have quite a few myself so I went over to see. Sure enough I had something like 492 posts at that time and I made the commitment to do a give away when I hit 500. Well in the course of keeping track of where I was relative to the 500 post mark, I noticed that I was quite near the 3000 post mark overall as well, so I decided to make my 500th post in the totin thread be the 3000th post on BF. Just took some restraint not to post in the totin thread too often as the 3000 post mark got ever nearer.

It was fun and I didn't have to use much restraint. It wasn't as serious as a fast for sure.

Your post gave me the idea, so you get the credit (blame??) for this coming to be.

Actually, deciding which knife to give away was the hardest part of the whole thing.
