The AB Combat Patrol Bowie thread is locked??

First off, I want to state that I am posting this question not to "Moderator attack" as too often is the case, but rather to just simply get an explanation as to why this thread was locked.
I see that Lyfsun posted there then the thread was locked without any explanation supplied as to why.

Can someone please clear this up for me?

I don't know how that happened. I didn't lock it ... we have some new moderators here now and one of them might have locked it (after all, it didn't seem to be going anywhere much) ... but I don't see any post from a moderator explaining why he was locking the thread.... I don't know, maybe it was the Net Demons again. Even when a thread degenerates to repetitions of what's already been posted I prefer to let it die a natural death ... they all do, sooner or later.... So I'll assume it was probably a software glitch and unlock it for now. If one of the other moderators deliberately locked it we'll probably have a big fight, but that's okay ... every forum needs to have policy discussions from time to time.

Thanks for looking into this Cougar. I thought that maybe I was missing something when I viewed that thread. Hopefully your re-opening of it won't start another pissing contest.
At this point I don't plan on posting anything there so as to give this thread a chance to move on down and die. I said all that I needed to say both there and here.
