Haebbie, your 2 PP knives look great:thumbup::thumbup:

Earl, That is the one to have........if you don't have the 124:D:D

Here is a cool looking southwest style design using a lot of MOP, Model 195 Skinner

I like looking at this thread, but unfortunately I can't help out with any posts.

I should get at least one MOP 110 some day. :)

Triple E, Your Akonua, JB's Bowie, Steel...y's Kalinga, my Frontiersman,
all in one Display ... A nice thought. Some other knives would fit into this
Show too. But ... too far away. May be at the next BCCI anniversary Meeting?
Won't we make a MOP-Disply together?

Haebbie Your pearl 124 tops the cake. That is about the best looking Buck knife I have ever seen.

Absolutely Fantastic. Thanks for posting pictures of it.

Here is a unique Bowie knife with a pearl handle from the Buck Custom shop. Do not have any information on it, but it appears to be a knife that didn't make the cut for the run of 300 Buck did in this style. It is not serialized and it has small pitting? spots? divits? really small, but all over the blade, and even a little on the pearl, more so on the back. The Gold plated blade must have been done after the marks were made? I would think, but I am not a knife maker, so I could be wrong, anyways, it still has an amazing feel and the handle is a real beauty, not a huge Harley Guy any ways, but I have been to the Black hills and that was cool!!, Let me know if anyone knows anything about this knife?? or how it could end up looking the way it does?? Thank you!!!!!

gsea, I am glad you were inspired!! that is a great looking 317, probably my second favorite one you own:thumbup::thumbup: I am sure you know which one is my favorite:D
Who did the work on it?

Here is the rarest pearl knife I own, only one I've seen like it!! It is a 102 in mother of pearl from the old Custom shop. Same year as my Kalinga and Akonua 1989:thumbup::thumbup:

I really thought we would see more pearl Bucks......Painted ponies:thumbup:yellowhorse's:thumbup::thumbup: Remer/Stone Customs:thumbup::thumbup:I know they're out there:confused::confused::confused::D
