The All Stag and Ivory Buck Thread (Let's See Your Stag & Ivory Buck Knives)

The last one I have for now that belongs in this thread.

I can tell you that I love carrying and using this Buck 311!!

I was on the computer the other day when Heath Stone listed this custom stag 639 Fieldmate for sale.
I kept going back to look at it. I knew I liked it, so made arrangements with Heath and it arrived in the mail yesterday.

Heath did a fantastic job on this Buck Fieldmate!!

I'm going to post this on the next SPS with a couple others I have. :)

Here is another Buck knife that now belongs in this stag and ivory thread. :)

I bought this large USA made Buck Trapper back when BCCI still had the youth auction on the website and it has sat unused since.
Maybe I will use it now.

Sure would love to see more stag and ivory Buck knives added in this thread to look at.:thumbup::thumbup:

Here are a couple pictures of a couple 124 stag's with mirror polished blades. They came in the black limited edition boxes with black distressed leather sheaths. Made in October of 2006.

Here is the one I posted on the SPS.

A small Buck 501 that I added Sambar stag scales to.

Stumps, I hope elk follows along the same line as stag to you. Here is a Buck 929 Chuck Buck Signature Skinner from 1990 with mirror polished blade of 440-C with a nickel silver guard and sun bleached elk horn from Wyoming.

Heck yeah James….elk is more than welcome here. I especially like the sun dried elk. I found a nice piece of sun dried elk on Wagontongue Mtn along the Continental Divide. I keep thinking of cutting it up for some knife scales, but I like it the way it is because it brings back good memories of one of my backpacking trips.

Buck Knives 116 Caper from the custom shop back in 1991 in mirror polished 425-M steel with European Sambar Stag and brass guard and pommel. Comes in the brown Buck Custom box with a brown flap over sheath with COA.

Dang James…you've been holding out on us.

That is an excellent Caper!!

Thanks for posting all these latest stag Buck knives.:thumbup::thumbup:

Here are a couple Buck 532's in mammoth ivory. One was made for Bass Pro and came in the black limited edition box with a black leather sheath and engraved "Welcome to Post Falls Idaho" on one side and the signatures of Chuck and CJ Buck on the other side with the serial number of the knife. The other one I got from a retired Buck employee a couple years ago. Both have mirror polished blades and the standard filework on the liners.

James, you have added some nice stag and ivory Buck knives to this post….thanks!!:thumbup::thumbup:
I have gone back through the entire thread a couple times. There are some stunning Buck knives you all have posted!!

I will have more stag Buck 110's to add later this week or early next week. I spent some time in the garage today back sanding and fitting these Sambar stag scales to five Buck 110's I have.

Still have quite a bit of work before I'm ready to epoxy them to the 110's.

My work bench used to be brown. Sure am glad I wear a respirator. :)
(That's a leather strop on the belt sander….I had to touch up an EDC)

This one is a Buck 925 Skinner with stag scales with an elk cut out by Wild Bill Cody with nickel silver guard and a mirror polished BG-42 blade. Came with a tan leather belt sheath in the black limited edition box. Knife measures 10-1/4" overall.

Here I have a couple Buck 905's in the same series as the 925 above with stag handles with elk cutout and mirror polished BG-42 blades with filework on spine and brown distressed leather sheaths. Overall length is 12-3/4". The tang stamps are the same as the 925 above.

I didn't realize I had two of these until today. Too many knives to keep track of I guess.

Here again in the same handle series is a Buck 923 medium skinner by WBC with stag handle scales with elk cutout, nickel silver guard with mirror polished radius ground BG-42 blade. Again the tang stamps are the same as the 925 above and comes with a light brown leather belt sheath with custom embossing. Note how different the sheaths are that come with these last three knives and the cutout on this knife is on the left side while the cutout's on the others are on the right side. Overall length of the Buck 923 medium skinner is just shy of 9-1/4".
