The All Stag and Ivory Buck Thread (Let's See Your Stag & Ivory Buck Knives)

gsea, I would go with it is a Build out from the 2002 stag run for Bass Pro. But I'm no expert.... Did you get the Abalone 532 the same guy was offering. Both went to fast for me to get my hands on. Good score! I used to have the barehead 532 stag WBC did with the thumb stud as my everyday carry knife...It was nice!!

No I didn't even see the Abalone 532. I just thought this was priced very low for a custom 532. I thought the Bass Pros were 2004 but I could be wrong.

Heavy rains headed to NH so I thought I cheer my self up and show off this Rocky Mt. Big Horn Sheep 124 (L.R. custom). It is from the top part of the horn which is a little darker.

Now that is a Fine Lookin Buck...."Traditional Blade" I love it.... If I had a buck like that I wouldn't need cheering up at all

I really liked the 110 sambar stag with the 50th medallion and blade. Thought the stag and medallion complimented each other very nicely.

George….I have to agree with you…they look great together!!
Here is a 50th Anniversary 110 that Heath Stone did and I was able to pick up last year.

This 184 turned out nice we mirror polished the blade, guard, spikes, lanyard, and pommel as well as adding a beautiful sambar stag handle.

Here's a 317 Mastodon Ivory from 89. It is also the serrated version. Leroy R. said this was done by him in the Buck Custom shop for a collector. Goes tp prove even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.

gsea - Your killing me. 1st with that fantastic MOP 124 and now this ivory 317. What a great couple of finds. Well done.

This is another BCCI Special Project. It's a 500FG Duke with a 154CM blade, NS frame, and a mammoth tooth and camel bone handle. It is a great combination! These pictures don't do it justice.

I see we have quite a few new people posting on the Buck forum. Hopefully some of you can add some of your stag and ivory Buck knives here to add to this thread.
You old guys are welcome to add more too! :)

Stumps, I am amazed by the art and the work of the artisans in this thread, I do not have much to add but will post a couple. Beautiful variety of knives. I continue to pick up a few but as retirement approaches the funds are drying up.

A factory job form earlier this year.

and a home grown 317 with Elk. not a lock back so may not see much use other then when worn for display.:)

Stumps, Next time your in NW Montana give a shout, I would love to buy you a cup of Joe. I'm close to Glacier
