Yes, its a standard 8-32 flat head cap screw. You can find them anywhere or ask Jo for some.
I think it's 3/8 total length on one side, quarter inch total length on the otherHi Nathan, what’s the length on those for the UF?

Acid wash perhaps?
Nathan, will you be open to doing a couple of extra procedures on my minty-fresh 3V Shiv?
In your downtime, totally your own schedule and when utterly bored outta your mind, kinda like when wanna take your mind off of things? I'm in no rush and if affirmative, I can contact Jo. Thank you![]()
How many runs does the average competition chopper last? Assuming you don't mega botch a 2x4 swing full power that is... As in how often do you have to remake a unit due to deflections or other damage that may negatively affect final scores.
I'm not super familiar with blade sports but was considering looking into them and was curious.
Everybody botches a swing once in a while. People like Me or Matt Gregory probably land more wonky hits than good hits.
There are also wonky boards out there.
It varies wildly, but one knife a year wouldn't be weird. A highly skilled cutter like Dan Keffeler can get years out of a race knife, though he might not train with it. And my good friend Matt Gregory might go through them more quickly, though it could just be his amazingly powerful arms.
I can't cut a single board with Jo or Ben's race knives because I'll bend something. We've tried it, I'm on the no-fly list now.
When a knife is damaged it gets set back and the bevels reground and the geometry gets dialed back in. You can repair a knife, sometimes many times.
We've started training with thicker knives and reserve our race knives for an event. This way two or three years from a good knife is feasible.
Jo and Ben win almost every event they go to now. Those knives only get used for races and they're collecting a lot of mojo.
Hammer and granite boulder? Maybe?I tried to break the tip off my FK2 today and it didn't work. Any suggestions?
Classy A. F.if you somehow managed to break the tip off and you need it repointed I'll will repoint it. If you bust a scale I will repair the scales with a material of my choosing. If you pick up some edge damage that needs ground out under coolant I will repair it. All of this is warranty work, no charge. If you somehow managed to actually break it I will replace or refund the original sale price, it does not matter if you are the original owner. However I do not pimp knives. Please do not send the knives here for spa, it will be years before it gets lost and then sent to someone different. Actually I take that back, go ahead and send it in, I need something to put into next week's sale.
