I think his knives look really good, too.Can we please not trash talk Guy in here. I am rooting for his success and you should be too. I have not been following all of the drama, I know some mistakes were made. I understand the bad blood but at the end of the day he's an American manufacturer who's trying to make it. And I hope he does.
+1 on every point. I missed the drama but they have been great to me so far. I just wish they’d stop making their new handles so small. It’s like Guy has midget fingers or something.I’m a big fan of Survive knives. I could live happily with only CPK and Survive.
No doubt, they have had a troubled past. I will say, my recent orders have been fulfilled in an acceptable timeframe, so I do think things are getting much better. Their customer service is impeccable, in my experience. I’ve spoken with Guy on a few occasions and he seems sincere about his goals in wanting to put a great product out there at a reasonable price point.
I still like CPK better though![]()

I like elmax ....
What are your thoughts on elmax vs magnacut
(I know magnacut is way more stainless, but real life toughness and edge holding)
I think I can help,Nathan,
Have you started to grind any of the Double edge UF2'S yet ?... if not how about any of the Penetrator tip or the double edge point
Knives ?...Have any of these 3 models been worked on by you ? And if not then when do
You think we'll see them getting Finished up?

Way less time than it takes to get a GSO10 after paying for it but probably a bit longer than you can last after handing Sook Mi the cash down at the White Lotus Massage Parlor. How long after paying an invoice for a UF2 does it take to be received by the purchaser?

Nathan,Some penetrator tip and double-edged points have already shipped.
If by grinding you mean preheat treat grinding, yes tons of double edged dagger ground are ground. There are no post heat treat finishing yet, I'm hoping to have some heat treated within the next week or two.
I certainly hope so. I think they're due at the end of May. There might be a few oddballs like the couple of AEBL that aren't done in that time frame but I think the vast majority will be done.Nathan,
Thanks for the awesome update on the Penetrator tipped UF2s and double edge pointed UF2s !...
Yes I did mean pre heat treatment grinding of the bevels and all necessary pre heat treatment grinding ! And since you have tons of the DEF's already ground and waiting HT do you think you will be able to wrap up this pre-order before the next up coming bladeshow ?
