I have a noob question. I changed the scales on a BFK. I changed out the hardware as well. The new screws look longer then the gold Ti I changed out. Two of the three won't tighten all the way down. I'm assuming they're bottoming out onto each other. Whats the thread patten/size on these? Are these available elsewhere? Should I just order some new ones? These tiny little bugger seem like they be difficult to trim down.

Make sure you have the screws in the right order as the ferrules are different lengths. You may have say the back and the middle in wrong holes? The widest spots like the middle should take the longest ferrule

Curious if that worked for you trying the screws in different locations? I came across a “bonus set” of screws today for me when I was grabbing a CPK box for a gentleman I sold a CPK to today in the mothership box lol.

Can’t remember for sure which knife they’re for, maybe my HDFK? Here is a good example of them all being different lengths. There’s also a chance you might have a longer screw in a shorter ferrule and it’s bottoming out on the other screw as well.
