bigmark408 has sold to me Mick Strider Custom SMF CC Nightmare like " Knife never used or carried ". He has sent many photos on which knife was looked perfectly. But I have seen that a knife is resharpened after the maker and the knife has light scratches on frame and pocket clip when I have received it. I have sent the message with photos to bigmark408. bigmark408has answered " That is a $1800.00 dollar knife that was in excellent condition before you damaged it. "
I consider that bigmark408 has deceived about a condition of a knife. Be cautious when have deal with him.

There has to be more going on here than is evident right now.
Though tact hasn't always been one of his strongest suits, I've always known BigMark over the years to be honest and solid.
On both sides of the deal...

So the knife you got didn't match the pics? I'm saying did you get pics of the edge as well as the rest of the knife of the pics you took?

As far as the scratches on the frame is that not a tumbled Tinfinish? Reason I ask is when tumbled it does have scratches like that but it depends on the light you take the pic in .

As far as the edge I've never seen a MSC In person so no idea what the factory edge looks like

I very seldom, if ever, chime in to posts like this, but I will have to agree with GZB.

I've had at least a half a dozen very positive transactions with Big Mark. He's without a doubt, one of thee most honest people that I've had the privilege of dealing with here.

I had an awful transaction with the dude. I sent him tracking and when it didn't show movement he claimed I was lying about sending it out and threatened to go to PayPal. Afterwards he demanded my phone number then proceed to berate me all because USPS failed to scan it when in transit. Dude set off my crazy radar for sure. The knife arrived safely and on time, he left positive feedback, but seriously, would not sell to again. Not worth the drama

Attempted 1 transaction with bigmark408 and I would never do business with him again, as somber said he set of the crazy radar as well. In my opinion any seller should be willing to take the knife back if the buyer is not happy with the condition of it.

I let bigmark408 know about this thread.

Did you inquire about the condition before you bought the knife?

If the knife is in different condition than describe then the buyer can get his money back .

As long as he can prove he didn't scratch the knife or use the knife ..Blade forums also says a deal is not a deal unless both parties are happy .

Now I'm not a mod and I could be wrong but for instance all these ads you see that say no refunds are invalid per the rules of blade forums .If I'm wrong well wouldn't be first time, just how I interpret the rules.

The seller does have good feedback, too bad he completely deleted the thread with the pics in it .

Thank you for the notification Rycen.

I will be happy to forward the complete email string of this transaction to Rycen but have no desire to post it here or continue with this thread.

I have been around all the forums for many years and completed hundreds of transactions, I have had a few pissing matches but that has nothing to do with buying or selling , out of several hundreds of transactions anyone is going to have a few that just don't work.

I have pics of a flawless knife I sold this person.

What he is not telling you is that he had me ship to a local California location and then he had it shipped to russia. He also asked after the fact that I not include anything in the package that shows the true purchase price of the knife.

This knife was handled by his U.S. Connection and obviously by customs.

Rycen, please PM me your email and I will forward you the complete string of emails from start to finish.

You

I delete all my threads after the buyer has received the purchase. Is that against the rules ?

Like I said, hundreds of transaction on several forums, ask the forums owners if i screw people. 😉

This knife was delivered over 2 weeks ago and my obligation was fulfilled.

Did this guy mention that i gave him the option to back out and told him the sale would be final and he agreed ?

I had a few backup buyers minutes behind this person but i honored his being the first because thats how I work.

He claims this MSC is worthless 😂

I've never done business with you Mark, so I'm not bashing you, but this in my opinion should have been a huge red flag.

I had a typo in there in wasn't accusing you. I was saying you had good feedback ,need to check the thread for the pics . Things get crazy in my house in don't know what happened

Not my business but I did notice one thing in the OP. Zoom in on 3rd pic that "scratch" now zoom in and look all over those scratches are everywhere if you zoom . I think ita a by product of the stonewashing. Several of my strides have had these scratches like this depending on how the light hits it .

It was, he was persistent and I was just trying to be honorable, those who really know me know this is true, the peanut gallery that like to take internet pot shots are in every GBU thread. 👍🏻 not you but the few others that have nothing better to do. 😉
