The Baddest Mofo To ever hold a Knife!?

the knife scene i remember with someone playing the bad guy was "48 h" with Sonny Landham playing a mad indian with a nice "bowie"...trying to impress Eddy Murphie holding a 44 magnum.. strangely Eddie win !

somebody playing the good guy is also Sonny Landham... trying to impress "predator" with his tactical knife...strangely, Perdator win also !:D

so we could deduct that even with a big knife, if the guy in front hold a gun...:jerkit:

Great tomahawk/knife fighting sequences in the Patriot and the Last Mohican.

Intense scene in Wolf Creek where (spoiler) killer hides in back seat and thrusts big @ss bowie through girls back. Then as she crawls out of the car and grabs a SAK to try and defend herself, he takes a swing with the bowie, and cuts almost all of her fingers off her other hand. He follows up by making her into a 'head on a stick' by separating her lower vertebrae and severing her spinal cord with the bowie.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned the Silence of the Lambs. Where Hannibal cuts a guys stomach open with a Spyderco Hawkbill blade. I don’t know what category that scene would fit under (I don’t want to think about it too much), but Hannibal Lecter would definitely fit in category 1.

Actually, that was in "Hannibal". And the knife was a Civillian.

My vote also goes for the Long Carrabine from Last of the Mohicans as baddest mofo good guy, how about Daniel Day Lewis other character Bill the Butcher for the baddest bad mofo. My favorite knife scene, I guess I'm a closet ninja, has to be the automatic scene from the Punisher, where he kills the Johnny Cash look alike hitman with the auto that shoots from the handle. I'm gonna have to rent Big Trouble in Little China, I haven't seen that since I was a little kid.

The best I ever knew was a guy I knew in Chicago. His first name was Don. I'll keep his last name to myself.

in Hannibal. and if my memory further serves me he cuts the victim's femoral artery, in the upper thigh.

Don't know if anyone mentioned this one yet, but the movie Exposure had some good stuff as well.

All I have seen mentioned are sissies. It is still Allan Ladd in "THE IRON MISTRESS"!!!

Did anyone ever see Cyborg, with Van Damme...... Lousy movie, but some great fight scenes.... with knives too!

Equilibrium had a lot of crazy gunfights but the swordfight at the end was sweet. Not really a knife per se but a blade nonetheless.

How about the magnificent seven (original), when they have that contest with the guy using the knife and the other guy using his gun... seemed like a bad mofo to me.
Anthro

id hafta say the GOVERNATOR with a knife is good. The best overall secene is from indiana jones where the bad guy is fliping around a sword and jones just pulls out a gun and shoots him.

the fight secene from burne identity was really good but jason (really david if you read the books) used a pen not a knife so that cant count

How about Virgil Solozzo stabbing Luca Brazzi through the hand in the "Godfather" with that little fixed blade?

Priceless.:D

For me, the baddest mofo to ever hold an edged weapon in a movie is Russell Means in The Last of The Mohicans.

Exhibit A: Russell Means vs. Wes Studi in the final fight on the mountainside in the movie. Almost expected the words "Fatality!" to scream onscreen...
