Knife or no knife the baddest mofo ever is Shaft, John Shaft.

They wrote a song about him saying: "That Shaft is a bad mother f..."

When they write a song about these other guys being a bad mofo, we can talk.

Shaft noted .. yet it's all about who has the skills with a knife, if it was about dropping the pants .. .well then I guess shaft would win that too . . .not that I would know . .just you know what the women in the movies said . .and the song and . .well never mind.

I've been playing Splinter Cell.Chaos Theory and been making my own movies.Stabbing folks isn't cool and will only lead to trouble.Do Americans use dogs to hunt pigs?We use dogs to bail and hold pigs and come up behind flip the pig and stick it.Search "Lifesaboar" for good ol' kiwi pig hunting.

Matt Damon- (jail scene in) "All the pretty horses"

Adam Goldberg- (death scene) "Saving Private Ryan"

Danny Inosanto- (balisong flip ) "Sharkey's Machine"

Just saw the Crow last night again for the zillionth time, and forgot there was a black guy in there who carried a vest full of knives and called them "friends" he'd like you to meet, and claimed they never miss, he ended up with a knife in every vital organ in alphebetical order.

A Bad Ass but not a mofo, and didn't make the cut .. he reminded me a little of that guy in Desperado.

1. Baddest to hold a knife would have to be Aaron Hallum(Benicio Del Toro) in the Hunted. Granted, LT taught him how to fight, but realisticall, the first wound LT suffered in that fight would have put him out of commision, as Tom Brown himself(the tech, adviser for the movie) stated in an interview.
2. Best knife-fight scene, imho, is the final fight on the river in the Hunted.(or possibly in the old seventies movie the Warriors...wasn't that the one where the two dudes duke it out while tied to the other with a belt or something?)
3.Best utility use?...One deffinitely comes to mind...Mick "Crocodile" Dundee is shaving when the heroine of the movie approaches...stuffing his disposable Bic razor into his pants, he whips out his big field knife and proceeds to shave with it.
4. Best death scene would have to be in the animated Chronicles of Riddick:Dark Fury, when their ship is captured by the merc ship. Riddick fills the interior of their ship with coolant foam, and when the doors are opened in zero-g, this big ball of foam comes floating out. Several mercs are quickly pulled into the foam and killed...all we can see is the blood spreading through the foam, and hear their screams and death-gurgles.
5. Coolest overall scene would have to be, for me, Aaron Hallum forging a new knife out of a piece of spring steel from an old truck near the end of the Hunted.
6. Most intense scene?...Can't remember the name of the movie, but it's an old low-budget (I wouldn't even clasify it as a B movie...more like a D or E...even an F-Movie) almost rated as a soft porn, where this chick gets raped with a large Bowie knife...gruesome.

True, when I said realism, I didn't mean total realism, I just meant, no wires or CGI or anything that makes you go, "yeah looks cool, never happen though".

Except when Benicio throw things...

The magnificant seven with switchblade vs gun match and the knife wins....West side story....the Hitch hiker....

The creeper from Jeepers creapers
F.A.K.K.2 from Heavy Metal 2000
Mcgyver
kill bill
Braveheart (love that claymore) "I know its not a knife"
Troy

I always enjoy the scene in Gladiator when Maximus shoves the Emperor's own dagger into his royal neck. It well illustrates the intimate way in which men of action often died before the advent of guns.
