I was wondering if you fine gentlemen could help in what to me is an overwhelming decision. You see, I just turned 65, and after an illustrious career serving the Democratic National Party (not to mention being a life-long volunteer at PETA), my mother wishes to buy me a knife as a retirement gift. Never having owned a knife in my life, I was hoping that you gents could help me pick one out. Mother says that I can get any knife as long as it is not scary looking and not too sharp.

PS It may also be a good idea to get one in a non-rusting steel as I am still to this date a perpetual bed-wetter. Thanks in advance for your recommendations you wonderful sirs.
