I'm gonna get one of the small Bushboxes when I can. Is there anywhere that still sells the Gram Weenie? I see the Gram Weenie Pro, but not the Gram Weenie anymore. Will the Gram Weenie Pro fit in the smallest Bushbox?

Very nice!!!
Most of posts here shows pristine gear used in backyards :P :P :P

Beginnings of an IKEA hobo stove. Just bent the SS pegs and cut the opening.

No, George decided to stop making/selling gear and focus on his ministry. He shut down End2End.
The Pro will not fit the tiny Bushbox.

Here is one of my other setups. It's the Pathfinder and Canteen shop canteen cook set.
The day after Christmas my wife and I took a trip with our son to Louisiana to visit my family.
Since we brought our Akita, I thought this was the perfect excuse to have dinner at a rest area and introduce my wife to Mountain House meals. Lol She actually didn't complain.

My son was watching with amazement. He loves fire. Haha

Can't see the flames due to the camera flash but they were burning for sure with my trangia filled with Everclear.

Made some hot chocolate for the road after we ate as well.

It's a nice setup and every thing nests together.

And here is my newest setup. The Heavy Cover Titanium canteen mess kit. A little pricy but I needed to shave a few ounces off my gear so I can bring more Becker's into the woods with me. :D
I actually bought it preorder and ended up winning the 2nd place drawing and received a free Ti canteen and mess kit, a Barkriver Bravo 1, a TOPS Turley knife, and a canteen cover. So awesome of them to do that. Thanks Chris!

My Firebox Nano and Trangia alcohol stove. I have been using one of my old sigg water bottles to carry fuel in and have not had any problems.

Made some oatmeal this morning. It was raining outside so I used the fireplace.

Think this will be my main kit for a while. It is so light and I just love the shape of the old school canteens. I carried the old plastic ones for years.

Damn, Dex. Win something why don't you? :p Nice kit. I've looked at that one a few times.

Mmmm Dex, that titanium mess kit is all kinds of sexy. Haven't bought any cook stuff in a while, gonna have to save my pennies for this one I think...

Is that like a titanium version of a Light My Fire spork??
Never seen one before, looks sweet! Arrg, more money to spend on stuff I don't need! :)

She sure is sexy. Haha That and being Ti is how I justified the price. :)
And yep, that's the light my fire titanium spork. Have had it about a year and a half and love it. Just got a plastic version the other day for my wife since she won't use it as much and really wish I would have gotten a second Ti one. The plastic is way more flimsy than what I'm used to but still functions great.

Sweet deal Dex.

Thanks man.

Haha. Lucky me right! It's gonna be a good year, I can feel it. And thanks man. I looked at it every few days for almost a month before I bit the bullet. Glad I did.

Today, I heated some hot chocolate water for the children with the new SP Litemax.

Made myself some tea by testing the mini tea kit--a Gram Weenie burner inside a Bushbox Micro.

Man, I love that Snow Peak stove. Did the Gram Weenie bring that cup to a boil?

I spent the better part of my day making alcohol stoves....and I failed. 3 times. Figured out my inner wall was not up to par. Ran out of cans...will hit the recycling bin up tomorrow...to further convince my neighbors I am a hobo...the ninja turtle pjs help.

It did. Of course, it helped that it was 50 degrees out and that we were in a spot with little wind. Sometimes, it just gets the water piping hot. Either way is fine; I always use clean water with the kit.

Before I got the Bushbox, I just used the GW on a small "primer" piece of aluminum. I do think the Bushbox prevents some heat from conducting downward, and it helps direct the flame upward.
