The beer scout is what drew me to GEC. From what I understand they won’t make anymore. Should have bought more than the one I have, but at least I have one.

I think that’s probably why they did something like the recent 85’s. It also might be why on that last beer scout run they also made cap lifters without the bail and shield. Maybe they shifted gears mid production?It was something to do with the boyscouts getting their panties in a bunch and threatening to sue. I’m sure GEC will make the knife again, or something similar but to avoid headaches, it won’t be called anything “Scout”.
