It is pretty cool to read about the early days of the Beer Scouts in this thread. There was a lot of anticipation. Also kind of sad to see a couple of guys that aren’t with us anymore.

There was a lot of discussion over the name. The discussion was whether or not it was gonna be “Beer Scout Knife” instead of just “Beer Scout”. I was just starting to pay attention to GEC back then so I missed out on that first run.
