The Best Discontinued Production Knives

I with you 100% It's a great looking knife with some of the best ergos ever!

I traded into a Lg barely used original persian and I was very impressed with the build quality... So impressed that I had to get the smaller version. Really great knives. Not easy to find...in any condition.

Ed Schempp gave me this one when they were very first coming out, I've carried it daily since then. Looking back I can't come up with a reason I didn't buy a few other that stupidity.

Buck 120 keeps going in-and-out of production; it's mostly been on the out side for decades. The most recent release had some useless etch covering the entire blade face. "Hunt Fair Chase." What the heck does that even mean?

The most useful Victorinox model, I actually need it for work, is the Stylus. It's been discontinued for years, and there's no alternative or replacement model.

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that Schrade no longer makes Old Timer knives. Those were an American standard for over 40 years.

Here is the current production Buck 120.

I like my older models a little better but this one in coco bola is very nice!

Benchmade AFCK
Kershaw RAM
Spyderco Lil'Temperance

Those are just 3 that pop up in my head.

Although I haven't owned either one for very long, I'd have to say the Kershaw Lahar and Mini Cyclone (don't have the full-sized) are my favorites among the numerous discontinued knives I own. I could have saved myself a fair amount of money had I known about them when they were still in production, but I was so overwhelmed by Kershaw's product line that I didn't know where to begin.

For me it's the Spyderco Wegner. I know they are still made by Blade Tech but I miss the Spyderco hole. I'll add the Ocellot to the list too. Always wanted Lone Wolf Harsey T3 too.

I'd have to say the Kershaw Lahar and Mini Cyclone...

Gotta agree with this right here. I absolutely love the Cyclones. Picked up a blem Mini a while back and am really glad I did. Ken Onion knows how to design an awesome knife!

Everything Busse Combat ever made ! What's with that

The large regular sebenza and the whole One Piece Knives line from CRK......... Was a very sad day when they were discontinued.

Being a fixed blade person.....

the Western W49 Bowie, which IMHO, is THE defining Bowie of the mid-20th century
the Kabar 1207/1208/1209 series of medium-sized Bowie-Hunters of the '70s
