He is like a beautiful mind at spotting fakes. Some of them are obvious, some I can see after inspection, but some that he spots I probably couldn't see if I had it in my lap with the real one beside it.

To answer your questions first I've never seen a fake Delica. Certainly doesn't mean there isn't one though. As to the military in question there are many tells. Probably the easiest way to tell on this particular one is the clip.
 
I noticed that civilian, was suspicious but wasn't aware of fakes on that model. I have been looking to pick one up for the best deal possible what's a good give away on that? Thought the spydie emblem was darker than normal.
