The best neck knife.

Or, design your own knife.

This is something that I think every single person should at least do once, if not every time they get a custom knife.

Find a maker who's style you like, and meets other criteria, wait time, expense, flexibility. Talk to them about altering a current model.

Then start drawing, copy pictures out of magazines, trace and alter, read every magazine, find some Knife Annuals( a remarkable resource), check out books on arms and armor, look in the nooks and crannies of the world, keep every drawing you ever make, and somewhere in the mess you will have the perfect knife for you.

I have been drawing knives for years, and researching designs from the world over and I have come up with some stuff that tickles me pink.

Oh, I buy knives of other's design, but a true custom knife, ahhhhhhhhhh.

And I am really lucky, I live a short way from Allen Blade, who can grind anything, literally. Allen makes knives that are worth 4 times what he charges, or is that knives that are priced at 4 times his prices are only worth..... Anyway....

Custom knife, huhhhhh???

And I also like a neck knife with sheathing that will act as a belt piece or even better, one knife, many sheaths. Belt sheath, neck sheath, shower sheath, pillow sheath, boot sheath, I don't know.......

Hmmm...you guys will all be interested to read my sub-6" OAL fixed blade review when it is done. Ten knives being tested, production and custom from makers like REKAT, Emerson, Sean Perkins, Running Dog Knives, Allen Blade, Jens Anso, etc. To back up what Marion is saying, I just received my Allen Blade Chipmunk today and the thing is unbelievable! Makers in their right mind would be charging three times this...awesome craftsmanship and finish, a 1095 blade coated in selenium dioxide and laquered over that, Micarta handles bead blasted with aluminum pins, and a great Concealex rig to boot. All for what...$60 I think? Anyway, you'll see ten knives reviewed probably in a week, so keep your eyes peeled. No pun intended.

Do you have it on photopoint yet? Or anywhere on the internet? If so, I can help you. If you don't have it anywhere on the 'net yet, I guess you would need to either put it on photopoint, or you could send it to me via e-mail, and I could put it up on my web server for a few days. If you decide that you want to e-mail me, the address in my profile will work.
