The Big Bad Mammoth Thread

Id like to add to this thread finally after tracking down a holy grail of mine. This Mnandi is a Caramel Mammoth Ivory Inlay with Devin Thomas Raindrop Damascus. I am in love with this knife. It is a true gentleman's folder. What do you guys think of it?

Not a Reeve Mammoth but a nice little fixed blade I had made with cross cut mammoth ivory recently-

Wow that's a beautiful center cut piece of mammoth. The color is just awesome. Great knife.
Here is my GRAIL. This is the best mammoth bark I could find, and its a one off. There is no other Mnandi that I know of that his this tooling done to it. There is gold in the clip, the standoff is gold. Pivot, and other screws have tooling done as well. Hope you all enjoy it, as much as I do.

Ok, Here is the last of my Mammoth Mnandis, other than my edc. One is a nice caramel bark, the other snow white ivory.

That is a great chunk of Mammoth.....

How often do you use Renaissance wax on your Mammoth or Mammoth bark Mnandis? The wax says it can also be used on steel. I've noticed that my blades really show fingerprints, and I was wondering about using the wax on the blades, too. Any comments? Can you use too much of the stuff so it turns color or something?

I've used Renaissance wax on my knives for many years. use it on ivory, wood , steel, any surface will benefit. Clean surface first, then put very light coat of wax on, and wipe off. lasts a long time, does not color any surface. I just got 3 william henrys in today, first thing i did was wipe off all surfaces and apply renaissance wax!!

Not sure why my stag Case stockman wound up in a picture of Mammoth Sebenzas.

In the gallery of blades there are some amazing new Mammoth examples fresh from the factory. Can't afford them myself, but thought I'd point it out to the BF crowd. The bark Mnandi is gorgeous. PM me if you don't know where to go.
