Who's going to the blade show?
and at what tables,, if you know yet.
I think I'm making the trip but not getting a table.

I as usual won't have enough knives ahead, but I do want to meet
those of you that are going while there.

I'll have some knives on a dealers table there
sooooo I can just have a good time

I'll have a shirt on with my Gray Knives Logo.
so if you see it, kick me in the ass and say hey ... not too hard though
:D

I'll be there, as usual. Table 3K best I remember.
You can always find me on the back loading dock, smoking and chatting.
See you there.

I am going to try and make it down if I can find a deal on a ticket.I will not have a table. It will be good to meet some of my friends and customers.
I hope to be able to bring my 13 year old grandson. He loves guns and knives and is a lot of fun to be with.We flew down to the Eugene show a couple of years ago and had a blast.

Where and when? I need to do some "research" for my book -- and I believe it's imperative that I go to a good knife show to get some of my interviewing out of the way. :D ;)

Hey Dan,
I'll be there and I have a table, not sure of the number yet but it is in the handmade section. It is always a great time there!

I am interested in going to the show and getting a table or spliting a table with sombody. I know it might be to late to get a table unless someone drops out. Do any of you guys know how this might work or want to split a table. Also how many knives are enough to have on display for purchase. I realy want to be there so I can get my work viewed the most people.

thanks, Jim Burke.

Jim I believe sharing tables is a No NO..at the Blade show:(
Thanks guys I hope to see you there.:D

I will be there next year,How does one get signed up for next year
I will be glade to met some of the people from this forum
and handle some of there work.I may be half good by then:)

I'm There!

Beaumont Metal Works will have a booth towards the back center of the room. Please stop by for a hand shake and some meet and greet.

Sincerely,
Rob

Myself and Bruce Evans are in the American Bladesmith Society testing area. We are at the same table but thats the only time sharing is allowed. The ABS is in the middle of the room. Please come by and shake hands and introduce yourselves. Cant wait.

Bruce, I'm glad you will be back at the Blade show. I missed seeing you there last year. I will have a table, but don't know the number yet. Tom Lewis

Tom I wish I could have been there last year. It is hard to get a table unless you are with the ABS first. Next year I should be OK. Are You going for MS this time around?

I'm coming to meet and greet and I'm bringing a list this time! Last year I got there and it was so overwhelming that I forgot who I wanted to say hi to that I've only known on the forum or through emails. I'll bring knives for show and tell only. Go to meet the Bruces that's for sure and all of you guys!

Can't wait to meet all you guys that come by the table to visit..Maybe I will pass my JS judging while I am there,Bruce B. will have no problems getting his MS while he is there also..
Come see us.
Bruce
Yes Donna will be with me:D

You guys are holding out on me. I don't know if this is common knowledge, or only open to ABS folks, but surely they allow some press into it. Where is it at, and when is it?

The Blade Show this year is, I believe, June 13-15
This will be the first time there for me..
so I don't know how to get there.
Kit do you have directions or a place to get them. :)
Us guys in the sticks need help on the paved highways you know..:D

Thanks for the info -- I think I could use a vacation about that time. Maybe I can round up some Missouri folks and do a carpooling roadtrip.

I'm pretty certain table sharing is taboo, though some dealers will host makers they represent at their table(s). The reason we were allowed to gather 5 makers in the Badlands booth is because it cost as much as individual tables, while using less floor space. Actually, the Strider guys had one table previously, so we are paying more than we would have for the 4 tables. On the positive side, we can all keep an eye on Mayo so he doesn't get in too much trouble. :)

They usually have cancellations right up to the last minute, so if you keep in touch with Mary (forgot her last name unfortunately) at Krause you might get lucky.

Thanks, I talked to Mary Lutz and she hooked me up with a press pass. I look forward to meeting some of you gentlemen.
