Over the years I have had some pretty bad cuts. I never once thought about taking a picture of the wound!

i was putting some oil on the blade of my gayle bradley (first evening i had it), well it slipped out of my hand, i have hardwood floors in my house so the first thing i thought was "OH NO!! dont let it hit the floor, the tip might break" so the genius that i am, i throw my foot out there like a soccer goalie to "save" the knife, giving no thought to my foot that is only protected by a slipper. well the blade caught me right on my ankle bone, and cut down to the bone, bled like a son of a gun, luckily it didnt hit something that had some more meat on it before the bone stopped the blade. lesson learned, just let the knife hit the floor....or atleast have on the right shoes for such activities.
Does that finger still look like a bobble-head doll?![]()
... the cool thing about nerves is that they almost always find each other in time or make a detour and the feeling comes back. It just takes time.![]()
How long before they stop being supersensative? I opened up my left hand almost 5 months ago and it still hurts like *** whenever I bump it. No pictures I'm afraid, but the cut ran over the top of my index finger knuckle and down the side of the finger half way to the joint.
What do you use to stop the bleeding??
I use SUPER GLUE for cuts, works like a charm.
not deep cuts of coz.
All these crazy knife related flesh wounds... My only crazy flesh wound was caused by a nail... I wanna share![]()
Go on ahead. I don't mind. A nail is just a blade with only a point. sort of like a sai or a rapier.

I'll take itSo round about the tender young age of 12 or 13, I was messin around at the bus stop, jumping up and grabbing an overhang, hanging for a minute and letting go... Typical foolish youngin activities... The last time I ever leaped without looking, I grabbed ahold of the ledge, and felt a pinch. Let go a little bit and it felt like I was wearing a latex glove that someone had pinched and was pulling, so I pulled myself up and pulled my hand away from the ledge and let go... Got my feet on the ground and looked at my hand to try and find the splinter... Turns out, there wasn't one!! Long story short, I had "partially de-gloved" my left index finger... It was BAD, meat of my finger all hangin off the tip of it and bone STARK white (the WHITEST white I have EVER seen)... It didn't start bleeding for a solid minute as my body was in shock, but when it did, it looked like a crime scene... Rushed to the hospital, emergency plastic surgery to fix the sheeth and the tendon, put all the skin and sinew back together... 140 disolving stitches and another 40 to hold the skin back together...
This was taken a week later when they took the bandage off for the first time, I almost hurled... (Pardon the quality, the digital cameras of 2001 were not so good, read sub-megapixel...)
