These timeless classics need more recognition and a dedicated thread. Please post your 100s - new or old, pristine or used. Here's my 105. It's been finding paths since 1975. I absolutely love this knife.
Thats a beauty TAH, I'm trying to gain back a 100 I had back in 1978 but the knife was earlier than late 70's maybe 60's. Its been driving me crazy because I thought it had a five in the numerology but the 105 seems to be to short for my recall of the size of the blade an what it had and did not have....plus the sheath was exactly like yours. I had 25 tabs in browser last night reviewing all the 100's It nearly drove me crazy......it may be a 118 or 121 the blade was definitely at least 6" Inches [unruly] when on your belt backpacking Mt Ranges....
DM & lots to learn too.....LOL Its like they say as you age, you think you have learned allot, then you realize you don't really know as much as you think, and you've bearly scratched the surface of things.
Love how you did that...gives me an idea for mine. I was thinking along the same lines but using 1" round rare earth magnets. Do you think the magnets would still hold if covered with felt?
Are we including 124's? Found in an Antique Mall last year. A 1967 Frontiersman with white teflon spacers. As pristine as you could wish for. Where has this baby been hiding for 45 years.....
