As a collector half the fun is searching for that "ONE" Buck you cant neaver seem to find...Tin Sue is looking for a DY jet fighter,Larry Oden wants a white handled 120,I would love to find one of the silver 112's [they only made 3 sets] Joe most likly wants a early handmade by his Grand father-inlaw...We have our dreams! Dave would want a first issue [with box] 110. So what is YOUR dream Buck ?

correction ... i dont need no dang box!!!
jest a first one with built in spring with a good blade will do nicely...:)

The Buck I want the most? The next one! Whether from the Custom Shop, evil-bay, mail-order, wally-world, it doesn't matter. The 'next' Buck I buy will be the one I 'want' the most... then... and stay that way for minutes, too. I am an unashamed and fickle knife-slut - and a poor example of a collector.

One of them Dang Drop Point Stag 110's and 112"s I have seen, but I don't have a Bunch Hundered Dollar Bills sittin around at the Moment. So the 882 STR is Customizing for me is more than likley the Buck I want most...

I really like the looks of the drop point 112's that have been showing up recently, so I just snagged a nickel silver off evil-bay, and a 442 for a blade donor. We'll see how my homebrew job goes...

...Here's one of my NS 112 Hybrids that found a new home 3 weeks ago...That 112 sure takes well to the drop points...

Wow Clint,

I guess I'm with Stainz on this one;). There are just to many...Dream Bucks out there. How about a set of honey IB jigged bones to keep my Duke company? How about a set of BCCI Dammy Bolster Bucks? How about a 184 with the golden blade? How about one each of every stag gold etch blade LE ever made? How about one each of every Duke LE ever made?

Oops' you said 1 "Dream Knife". I already have it and it was made by two knife Angel's.

Who and what does he want??? My Truck My Bike My Wife??? Wait Wait!!! I take that back, I could never trade my Bike!!!

I got mine. Back in the early 1980's, while living in Montana, my grandmother let me buy a Buck 119. (You'd have thought it was the Holy Grail. It was to me.) Later, I gave it to my uncle, and I've wanted another one since, especially with the sentimental attachment I have to that model.

This spring, I found one, a 1902-2002 commemorative, no less. I'm buying a Buck (& Case & R.A.T. & . . . ) every couple of months now, to support the American knife industry, but with that 119, my world is in harmony again.

thx - cpr
