I'd like to see Busse offer the camo micarta. It would look awesome with muddy brown.

Definitely a variant of the Straight Handle Battle Mistress! :thumbup: I'm REALLY surprised that the Bossman didn't call it the Razorback Mistress.
That would have been a perfect name!!! The CBT helps prevent binding while chopping.

I look at G10 as a show piece. Yeah, I know... it's durable. But it's slippery, it doesn't feel warm in your hand like Micarta which can a little like wood due to the exposed bits of fabric (at least in my mind), and the appearance doesn't age the way Micarta does.
So if you plan to use it, I'd take Micarta over G10 every single time. The one exception would be for food prep, where I would prefer the less-porous nature of G10 for sanitary reasons.

No, I didn't . serious about it this time around. Makes no sense to me to buy a blade covered in glue and pigment and even though I can strip it myself, I'll pass. Too bad though, I really like the thickness on this one but oh well. It's not Nuclear Meltdown or Light Brigade treated anyways .

I have used canvas, linnen (both machined and hand shaped smooth), g10, paper, res-c, ..... I like the feel of the canvas and linnen best.
