Lol you’d be surprised . I bought a fake spyderco shaman off the spyderco official website on Amazon . Fake knives everywhere at the distributors now a days . Some shots

Yah honestly I’ve had Spydercos before and didn’t notice until I got a Lynch deep carry clip and the screws didn’t fit . Just thought fit and finish had slipped . Then started looking closer and lots was off (logo placement, screws weren’t flush or same size, lettering in different places, grind was off) .

Action was damn near perfect on the knockoff and it came from the spyderco Amazon store . Turns out they have a bunch of distributors and some had knockoffs . Not even sure where in the supply chain these were introduced

If not a serialized run, pretty sure they aren't serial numbers, rather just an in-house production parts numbering system to avoid build errors (but I could be wrong 🤔)

You are right, but what I meant is that models that aren't staying in the web store for a while and are done in a single run, the numering for matching parts would kinda do the trick

Still looking for an RMD INFI preferably but would also take one in SR—101.
Gonna take a little break though. lol. I have the NTG comin and now the BATAC CG.
They should go very nicely with my AMS.
 
Congrats, you got a super deal on that BATAC. And, the butt and handle are more useful/a little more comfortable than the RMD (for me, I have large hands).
